Tua
Kandace Ayala · Georgetown

🌎 Less Planning, More Exploring with Tua

What does your business do, in your own words?

Tua is a travel planning business, but at its heart, I make complicated things feel easy. I help people plan and book travel around what actually matters to them: who's going, why they're going, and what they want the experience to feel like. That might be a family vacation, a Disney or cruise trip, a milestone celebration, a group trip, or business travel and meetings. I can take on as much or as little planning as you need, from finding the right hotel or cruise to connecting all the moving pieces of a more complicated trip. My background is in meetings, events, project management, and client strategy, so I naturally think about the details, the logistics, and what can go wrong before it becomes a problem. I'm a dot connector. I like figuring out how all the pieces fit together and then making it feel simple for the person traveling. People and purpose come first. The logistics should feel easy. That's really what Tua is about: you bring the why, and I'll handle the how.

Sweetest Cookie
Tammy · Leander

How an Army Veteran Built Leander’s Sweetest Cookie

What does your business do, in your own words?

Sweetest Cookie is my little creative outlet where I get to make decorated sugar cookies for people's special occasions. I love taking an idea someone has in their head and figuring out how to turn it into a cookie. Every order is different, which keeps it interesting for me. After spending so many years in the military, I really enjoy having something that lets me slow down, be creative, and make people happy.

What does your business do, in your own words?

I help people buy, sell, and invest in homes across Round Rock and Avery Ranch. Most of my clients are buying their very first home, but I also work with real estate investors and with people 50 and older making a big move later in life. Whatever brings someone to me, my job is the same: build a clear plan around their budget and timeline, then walk with them through every step until the keys are in their hand. No pressure, no confusing jargon, just someone in their corner who's actually done this before. 20+ Years Real Estate Investor · Realtor® · Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) · Hoyden Homes Brokerage · Texas License SA848552

Lone Star Tallow
Lone Star Tallow

Lone Star Tallow Started With a Curiosity About Ingredient Labels

How did you get started? Give us the origin story.

I've always been interested in health, fitness, and being intentional about what my family eats and uses. Over time, I started paying more attention to ingredient labels, not just in food but in everyday personal care products. That curiosity eventually led me to beef tallow and the idea of making my own products. I started experimenting with different ingredients and formulations, especially deodorant. I wanted something simple that I would feel good about using myself and sharing with my family. What started as experimenting with ingredients eventually turned into Lone Star Tallow. I never really set out with some grand business plan. I just had an idea, started making things, and realized it was something I genuinely enjoyed doing.

PT Liftology
Daniel Cole · Cedar Park

PT Liftology Brings One-on-One, Cash Pay Physical Therapy to Cedar Park and Leander

What does your business do, in your own words?

PT Liftology is a physical therapy clinic with locations in Cedar Park and Leander, TX. We primarily work with athletes and active adults who want to get out of pain, keep training, and prioritize movement as a way to stay healthy. Most people come in thinking they're gonna be told to stop lifting or stop running for 6 weeks, and that's pretty much the opposite of what we do. Every session is a full hour, one on one with our PTs. No aides, no techs, no getting passed around. It really is a new way of doing physical therapy that has been a huge relief for our patients. They know they are getting the best care possible. We see a lot of back pain, neck pain, shoulders, hips, knees, running-type injuries and pain, lifting injuries in the gym, and people coming back from surgery. We use hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, and a lot of strength work that fits whatever sport people love to do around Austin. The best part is that we're cash pay, so insurance isn't telling us how long we get with you or what treatments we can and cannot do. No limitations, and everything therefore is individualized for the people we are helping. Another fun fact is that we teach continuing ed courses for other PTs on how to work with lifters, which is kind of our way of trying to make the whole profession better. We also work closely with schools around Austin to help their physical therapy students learn as much as they can before becoming doctors of physical therapy.

The Kids Bookshop
Ann Kimura · Leander

From a Leander Garage to a Storefront: The Kids Bookshop Finds Its Home

How did you get started? Give us the origin story.

I was selling books out of my garage for 4 years here in Leander. My husband and I bought our first house, and within a month or two of having a couple of weekend book sales, a neighbor reported us to the city of Leander and we received a letter saying we couldn't run a bookshop out of our garage. I quickly reached out to my friend and fellow chamber member, Esmeralda Gonzalez, and found a spot down the hall from her photography studio. We opened our doors August 22, 2025. Even though I was angry at first at that unknown neighbor who reported me, I'd like to thank them now, because owning a bookshop and being a librarian has been a dream of mine for more than a decade!

Breathe Flow Heal
Holly Bentley · Cedar Park

Breathe Flow Heal Is a Personal Trainer for Your Nervous System

What does your business do, in your own words?

I help people who feel like their body is stuck in survival mode learn how to feel safe again. Many of my clients come to me feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, in pain, unable to sleep well, or simply knowing that their body has been carrying stress for far too long. Through gentle, body-based techniques like Spinal Flow, Spinal Energetics and Somatic Breathwork, I help clients regulate their nervous system, release stored tension and reconnect with their body's natural ability to heal. I often describe what I do as being a personal trainer for your nervous system. We can't eliminate stress from our lives, but we can train the body to become more resilient and flexible in how it responds to stress. My goal is to help people spend less time stuck in fight, flight or freeze and have greater access to the rest, connection and healing their body is capable of.
