We are small local business of tallow (Grass fed & finished tallow) based products; deodorant, lotion and lip balm. Our products are made in small batches, and we offer free local delivery! (in Taylor) and same day delivery to the surrounding cities for a small shipping fee! Our lotion is available for purchase at the ‘Local Grocer’ store in Taylor Tx.

The story behind Lone Star Tallow

How did you get started? Give us the origin story.

I've always been interested in health, fitness, and being intentional about what my family eats and uses. Over time, I started paying more attention to ingredient labels, not just in food but in everyday personal care products. That curiosity eventually led me to beef tallow and the idea of making my own products. I started experimenting with different ingredients and formulations, especially deodorant. I wanted something simple that I would feel good about using myself and sharing with my family. What started as experimenting with ingredients eventually turned into Lone Star Tallow. I never really set out with some grand business plan. I just had an idea, started making things, and realized it was something I genuinely enjoyed doing.
