Preferred Care at Home of North Austin and Williamson County

My name is Tania & Argie & her staff at Preferred Care at Home Austin have been amazing trusted empathetic caregivers that you can count on. I found them for my Aunt & Uncle who live in Austin in 2023 & Argie & her staff have been with my Aunt & Uncle through the recent death of my Uncle & including being at his funeral for my Aunt and helping her grieve in the weeks since his passing. Argie and her staff especially Argie & Rosemary have been outstanding and heaven sent. Argie visited my Uncle in the hospital & in in rehab & so did the other caregivers help bring my Aunt to visit my Uncle including coordinating the visit for the very emotional last goodbye the day my Uncle passed. I live in another state & am also a caregiver to my Dad & my Aunt & Uncle don’t have children so the peace of mind that Argie and her staff have given myself and my extended family to care for my Uncle and now just my Aunt has been valuable beyond what words can possibly express. My Aunt & Uncle both have/had Parkinson’s disease and don’t always have the strength to verbally communicate or even text or email due to tremors but Argie has always kept me posted with photos on how they were doing and now how my Aunt is doing. I am so grateful to Argie & Rosemary & Helena & Ally & everyone who helped care for my Aunt & Uncle including at the end of his life and helping my Aunt cope with the grief. Any family should absolutely hire them to care for your loved ones because good paid caregivers are hard to find & Argie and her team are the best. It is absolutely worth it to keep your loved ones in their own home where they feel safe & comfortable and familiar with their surroundings with Argie and her team caregiving and helping with everything from food shopping and errands, to washing the dishes & the clothes & light housework to dealing with hard end of life conversations that are very emotional and dealing with multiple extended family members with all different personalities and sensitive topics regarding decision making. The grace and care that Argie has demonstrated is to be admired and appreciated. I am eternally grateful beyond what words can possibly express.

She is an outstanding professional in senior care, but above all, an incredible human being. Her commitment, dedication, and genuine love for what she does are reflected in every detail. Preferred Care was the perfect fit for our disabled mom! All while in the comfort of her own home! The caregivers were long-term employees, so turnover was never a problem! We will always consider everyone at Preferred Care, as Family! We are so gratefull to have found such a warm and caring team to care for our mom during the last years of her life!
