Best Feed Store in North Austin Area. My daughter loves to come here during her FFA seasons to buy for her animals.
I needed crack corn so I purchase a 50lb bag. I had to drive in the back for it to be loaded in my SUV. The service was ok but when I got home the bag had boll weevils. It took me an hour to clean it up, transfer the corn in different bags and clean out my car. The price is reasonable but I will not go there again. I am 80 years old and to much work.

Great personnel, excellent products and well stocked and equipped, lots of products available and pretty good prices.
I was excited to find a local company that sells soil and compost. This last week I went in and looked carefully through their sample jars that is supposed to show what the soil will be. I chose 1/2 a yard of compost and 1/2 a yard of professional mix. I didn’t get a chance to start unloading it until Friday morning. When I looked under my tarp on Friday morning, I noticed the “professional mix” had A LOT of sand and pebbles, and was much lighter in color than the sample of professional mix. I took a jar of it to the store, took the sample jars of professional mix and landscape mix to the counter, and showed the person working the counter that what I received looks much closer to the landscape mix. She denied it. I said my concern is, this is going in my raised vegetable garden and I’m concerned the water is going to drain through the sand faster than the vegetables can use it. She said maybe I got a spot that wasn’t mixed well(?!) but that is their professional mix. I told her I won’t be back and left. Now I’m shoveling the rest of it out of my truck, putting in my vegetable beds because I have no other place to put it, and keeping my fingers crossed that this is not a HUGE mistake. With every shovelful I am more disgusted. The little bit of compost I did find underneath the crap soil (no way that was half compost) does look decent. I’m hoping it will be enough to at least give the plants a fighting chance. I’m really disappointed, I would have gladly come back for more compost. But if I can’t trust the quality of what they load and they don’t listen to my concerns, I won’t throw good money after bad.
