Food is awesome.
My coworkers and I enjoy Happy panini at least once a week! My boss orders the Soprano and I personally always order the Hello Sunshine BUT this week I tried the Chicken Club and OMG it’s my new fave! Been eating here since they were in the food trailer and it dawned on me that I have never left a review! Shame on me! If you haven’t tried their sandwiches or pastas you are DEFINITELY missing out!
Greeter, who took the order was very pleasant—no issues there. Sandwiches: 1) Big Cheese (We asked for Cheese Reduction & were charged half for that reason): It was still a lot of cheese, but it was extremely salty—rendering it inedible & it wasn’t the side of marinara. 2) Chimichurri Beef: The Beef was Tender, but the sandwich lacked the Chimichurri Sauce and there was no Arugula as stated in the description. Garlic-Parm Mayo tasted like regular mayonnaise. 3) CAPRESE FRESCA: This sandwich was NOT IT. There was Very Little, like Hardly Any Pesto & the Pesto that was there offered no flavor. There was scant Balsamic Glaze, so the sandwich was Flavorless. Also very little Mozzarella & the Mozzarella is Not a High Quality Mozzarella. Plenty of Tomato though. Overall, Everything was Fresh, but with the stingy serving of sauces & the excessive saltiness of the Big Cheese, we couldn’t give additional stars. I want to add that after reading the less than 5-Star Reviews & the Owner’s Responses—they’re somewhat unprofessional & passive aggressive. When your business misses the mark or allegedly misses the mark, the business should still remain steadfast at the Highest Level of Customer Service—Small Business or Not. The sandwiches that we ordered were not consistent with the Business’ Descriptions and/or the 5 Star Reviews.
Ordered online, was fresh, delicious, and a good serving! The pasta has so much flavor! The sandwich’s were amazing! .
I got a French dip and the meat inside was raw, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of food from here. I’d prefer to not have to cook my food again when I get home.
New to the area my new favorite lunch spot!
I really love this place! I love the Cuban sandwich, East Street Italian, and their pasta salad. Tables outside could use a good clean.
Hutto keeps surprising me. I did not know there were restaurants of this caliber here. The location is charming, with historic buildings that gave me East Coast college town vibes. Just a heads up: there are steps and no visible ramp, so accessibility could be an issue unless there's a back entrance at the same level I did not see. Learned that this used to be a food truck prior to the brick and mortar location. The menu has plenty of panini options (including vegetarian and lighter wraps). We tried the Hello Sunshine (substituted ham for double turkey) and the Chipotle Beef. Food came out hot and fresh. Loved the bread on both. For the Hello Sunshine, it was a good sandwich and I enjoyed it but it didn't stand out in any particular way for me. However, the Chipotle Beef was where it was at. Loved this one, the jalapeños added a nice kick and the chipotle mayo with cheddar really brought it together. Service was warm and friendly. The pricing felt fair for the quality and freshness. They also have pastas which looked pretty good, will try them one day for sure once we have tried the rest of the sandwiches. I'm specifically looking at you chimichurri beef and chicken pesto! 4.5 rounded up
This is a nice little local place which serves great sandwiches, pasta and desserts with a cozy vibe. We stopped for a quick dinner and the food was fresh and tasty. The place was staffed by very well mannered young girls and boys. They have a wide selection including many vegetarian options as well. We will certainly be repeat customers and would happily recommend this place to others as well.
It taste perfect 👌 10/10
