This Dairy queen in Hutto continues to be a HIT OR MISS. Today, April 5, 2026 my daughter and I ordered blizzards. I was surprised that the ice cream did not reach the top of the medium cups. AND, the server brought them to our table and just set them down. DID NOT turn them upside down. Just said here you go. I always thought they were supposed to turn them upside down. They did taste good. I hope next time the medium cups will be filled.
Hutto Dairy Queen is the best DQ in the area. Always good service, clean and quality is consistent.

Did the drive thru…person I was with wanted to try the new mint crunch in cookie dipped cone and I ordered the mint Oreo cookie blizzard . They had pictures on the display screen (see attached photos) and looked good so this is why we ordered it. Get to the drive thru window and the clerk hands me the cone and I asked her what is that? She says it’s the mint crunch cookie cone..I reluctantly took it from her and looked at it and handed to the person who wanted it and then she gave me the mint Oreo cookie blizzard. I asked her again, what is that? She tells me that is what I ordered, and I said these look nothing like what the picture out there on the menu looks like…it looks disgusting actually. And she replies back with strong conviction, “you can’t go by those pictures…they are highly digitized”. I just stared back at her for several seconds in silence and thought to myself, ok I’ll roll with that. The person who ate the cone said it was good, I took a few bites of the blizzard and threw it away. See attached pictures of what it was supposed to look like…not even close with the final product given to us. Looked like a science project actually

This is a fantastic DQ, it is a new building and the staff are always delivering great service. There is never a long wait and the food is always consistent. They don't skimp on the blizzard mixins either.
