I recently switched providers and saw Dr. Stoeckel at Village Medical in Cedar Park. The staff was friendly, detail-oriented, and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.

5 stars is how I was treated by Dr. Rita Chukwurah! She treats you like your family. She listens to you issues and even listens to your lungs heart, literally & physically. She doesn’t treat you like you’re a science project and doesn’t wanna touch you. She actually cares. It’s been a long time since I’ve ran across a doctor like her. Hats off to Rita you’re doing a great job! Thank you once again! Blessings coming your way. In Jesus Name Amen🙏🩵 Kim C 🥳
Dr. Mark Stoeckle is the best. Very patient and thoughtful when explaining things that may seem scary. He is very thorough and understanding. I recently had to reschedule like 3 times and between him and Sara I was able to do a tele-visit and all my worries were gone. 10/10 medical staff.
I really like village medical. ive used to both rr & cedar park once I moved. staff is super nice. They'll take care of you. Its clean & convenient.
From the ladies at the front desk, to the lab, and Dr Stoeckel. Everyone was professional and friendly. If you dont mind dealing with a TERRIBLE call center and not being able to speak with someone when you call. Its super aggravating and VM should know a call center is not the direction a medical office should go. Nothing but bad experience with their call center. Give us a direct # . Nobody wants to sit at home waiting for a call back that may or may not come.
It took a month to get an appointment with Dr. Stoeckel of Village Medical who was cordial and seemed to genuinely care. However, the after care and follow up by Village Medical leaves much to be desired and not good enough. Their communication along with attention to details needs to be given serious thought. Not to mention a lack of personnel it appears. People’s lives are being put at risk here. Which raises the important question of liability and questionable business practices. The only person at the Front Desk was seemingly overwhelmed with work. She had to handle check-ins, check-outs, new appointments, handle the info chart from the Doctor, data entry and who knows what else. Continuing, when we heard nothing on our medication refills after a week (my wife & I were seen together) we had to call in to enquire on the status as we were running out. Additionally, it’s been two weeks now and having not heard anything on our referrals, another call was placed only to learn mine was approved and sitting there but nothing for my wife who was the more urgent of the both of us. Spoke with Paula from Village Medical today who was apologetic, understanding and caring who promised to resolve my wife’s referral situation by tomorrow. So, it should not be our responsibility but that of the Doctor’s office to get the approvals and advise their patients as quickly as humanly possible so that their health is not impaired or deteriorated further. When you need to get to the Doctor’s office, a call center rep answers and you’re advised it may take up to 3 days before they respond. Also, when an appointment is made to see the Doctor, the confirmation is sent out just 3 days before. Hopefully, concerned officials will see this and respond accordingly or risk their business suffer huge set back. Further, before the Texas Health & Human Services Commission gets involved.
