I’d like to give a shot out to the team for helping our family with our pet Nephthys when she was in for her injury a few weeks ago. Special shot out to Dr Fuentes & Shea for their empathy and care.

779 from neighborsThis location has always provided my dog with the best care possible! And their lobby is nice and spacious, with room for plenty of pets at once.
I really wanted this visit to go well, but it ended up being a frustrating experience. I came in for care and had a lot of questions about the recommended treatment plan, especially since the estimate was over $1,200. Instead of getting clear answers directly, communication felt very indirect — the tech had to keep leaving the room to relay questions to the vet, which made the whole process drag on. The appointment ended up taking close to four hours, mostly waiting. What bothered me more was the tone. When I asked questions or expressed concerns, the responses felt dismissive and at times a bit combative, rather than collaborative. As a pet owner, you want to feel like your concerns are being heard and taken seriously, especially when making decisions about your animal’s care. In the end, I chose to leave because I didn’t feel comfortable moving forward without clearer communication and trust. I hope they can improve how they communicate with clients, because that makes all the difference.
Im so bad with names but the girls were amazing, Dr Murphy was outstanding with my baby boy, this is an amazing location.
I don’t recommend anyone taking their pet to Thrive Pet Healthcare Round Rock if you want your fur baby to walk out alive…. I have a geriatric male ragdoll cat. I took him in because he needed a wellness check up - he has allergies & I needed his ears looked at because his ears have been bothering him. Gabriela Nieves, DVM was aware of that. She said she would address that. She explained to me because Bentley was stressed out they suggested that I bring him the following day medicated so they could do a chest xray & lab work. I took Bentley in medicated with the medicine they prescribed. Bentley couldn’t even stay balanced so I know he did not need to be sedated with anesthesia. He’s old he shouldn’t be sedated betof his age. Leander Veterinary won’t even sedate him like t
Staff was so helpful and understanding.
Over 8 years I’ve always taken my dogs (4) here and they have always given me honest answers and advice. Whether it’s my small senior dog or a puppy, they have been extra helpful. They also help you with expenses by taking their time and recommending more economical options.
My dog loves thrive. Very fast and careful care
I had such a great experience with Aria, the our tech in Round Rock. She took the time to ask so many detailed questions about Finn’s allergies and really made me feel like she genuinely cared about getting to the root of the issue, not just treating the symptoms. You can tell she truly cares about the animals she works with. She was attentive, patient, and made sure I felt comfortable with everything that was going on. It meant a lot to see how concerned she was and how much effort she put into making sure Finn was properly taken care of. Finn absolutely loved all the treats and rubs he got from her, which made the visit so much easier, and he’s already feeling better. That meant everything to me. It’s not always easy when your dog isn’t feeling their best, but having someone like Aria there made the whole experience so much better. I’m really grateful for her care and compassion.
Abbey and Dr. Miller were great!
