So again, since yall keep deleting my rating I will once again comment. The guy with the white truck and pink license plate (cute btw) made threats to my significant other at their place of residence. This man’s absolutely despicable and couldn’t handle an apartment situation like a grown man. If his business is anything like his ability to respectfully talk to women then I feel sorry for all past present and future customers. Keep deleting this and I will keep reposting it.

TLDR: Had a terrible experience with Lonestar Roofing and Gutter— botched repairs led to serious damage, and they refused to let me use my trusted contractor. Avoid them if you value your home. UPDATE: Just got a call from Chris - they are suing me for slander. That probably explains the 5 star reviews. Detailed Review: 1. Initial Issues: I hired Lonestar Roofing and Gutter in 2023 to replace my roof, expecting a professional job. Instead, their subcontractors caused significant problems: Disconnected Pipes: They used the wrong boot sizes and tried to force-fit them, which led to pipes being disconnected. [See attached images] Poor Workmanship: They didn’t apply mastic and failed to flash vents properly, leading to leaks and serious damage to my home. [See images of buckled wood and water damage] 2. Hidden Concerns: These are just the issues I can see. I’m not a structural engineer, so I can’t be sure there aren’t more hidden problems that could be damaging my home’s structure. 3. Response from Lonestar: Lonestar acknowledged their mistakes in text messages, but refused to let me use my trusted contractor for repairs. Instead, they insisted on using a handyman who works out of his garage to fix a large wooden fixture in our kitchen. [See attached image] 4. Final Resolution: Despite having clear evidence of their negligence, Lonestar hasn’t taken responsibility to properly fix the damage. They even offered me $4K to not sue them for any future damages—a red flag that there might be bigger issues ahead. I considered suing but realized the cost and time might outweigh the benefit. Fortunately, I can cover the $6K to fix the damages myself, but I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone else. 5. Conclusion: If you’re considering Lonestar Roofing and Gutter, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. My experience has been a real headache, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

Chris and Lone Star Roofing and Gutters truly bring a level of care and honesty to the roofing business in a way that isn't seen often enough anymore. No pressure sales, just straight to the point, wanting to help the customer get a new roof that works best for them. They also offer quite a bit of color options, won't pigeon hole you into selecting one either. They are flexible, trustworthy, and hardworking. Can't speak highly enough of them

I can't say enough about the job that Lone Star Roofing & Gutters did on our new roof and gutters. They completely transformed the look of our house. It looks like a brand new house. I can’t say enough about this company’s reliability professionalism, knowledgeable, fairness, and dependability. My home builder choose poor constructions materials on my roof vent that cracked and was causing a leak. Doug Brooks answered my call the first time and Chris Brooks came over twice on very short notice and repaired it for me. I would highly recommend their services!

Lonestar replaced my roof damaged by hail a few weeks ago. They did an outstanding job getting the job done in ONE DAY! They arrived and began tear off very early in the morning and continued working until dark. Their supervisor, Jimmy Shrull, kept me updated every step of the way. It is rare, in this day and time, that I can say, without reservation, that I am entirely satisfied with the performance and quality of work from a company, but that is exactly what I now report! Five stars and a full recommendation to anyone needing a good, reputable roofing contractor. Thank you Lonestar and thank you, Jimmy Shrull!
