We have been going here for a few years. They are reasonable priced which helps with you have 3 dogs. We usually see Dr. Lane, but was seen by Dr. Huggins. My Weim gets nervous and felt super comfortable with him. First time seeing Dr. Huggins and would highly recommend him as well as Dr. Lane. I don’t have anything negative to see about this office. We usually can get in super quick!
Dr. Brooks is terrific. No BS. Plain and simple of what needs to be done. She treated my Stella for a broken toe nail - ouch! Stella is happy now and so am I. I highly recommend Liberty Hill Animal Hospital. They ROCK!
We depend on the staff and doctors at Liberty Hill Animal Hospital for all our veterinary needs and services. They serve us and our dog pack as clients with the most compassionate care at every level needed -- and we always need something. We have a new Frenchton puppy who was welcomed to the practice with huge smiles and great care. In the relatively short time we've been clients, we had to have a beloved Boston euthanized, another Boston treated for a rattlesnake bite to the face (he survived), an English bulldog treated for dry eye and skin problems, our male Dogue de Bordeaux needed a dental and a mass removal, our female mixed Dogue de Bordeaux needed a dental, and all our others (we have 8 total) have been there for every vaccine needed. We use the online pharmacy and it saves us time and money. We've had meaningful discussions about all sorts of conditions and needs. My questions are carefully listened to and I get answers that are very helpful. This is a great and very caring veterinary hospital and it is a teaching hospital so that you will hear the veterinarians explain things to the staff while you are sitting there. I love that so much. I see any doctor on staff at any time. They are ALL super trained and experienced. The staff is patient with me and understand that my dogs are my life. They get it. So I wanted to thank all of you for being our canine dream team.
I have brought my dog here for over two years. They have taken care of him, I’ve had no complaints. However he has a chronic condition that requires medication and they refuse to give refills! It’s all about money! They see him every 2 months to charge me to get a refill.
They took good care of my girl Lily Jo she was in a bad spot they were very accommodating. She gets very excited when shes around other animals and likes tk hop around shes a big dog lol but that was causing further injury to herself. They allowed me to wait outside with her and did all the initial questions etc about what was going on with her while she was hanging out in the grass. They listened to and addressed all my concerns. They looked her over thoroughly which her previous vet she has been seeing for 9 years and had just seen 2 days prior had not done but charged me a ton. We got her on better meds and cleaned her wound very well when I asked the tech. The entire visit and treatment was less than what I paid previously and my girl has improved significantly. We still have a ways to go to address the main concern but looks like we're on the right track with the infection being under control. So overall very happy I was referred to this place and will continue to take my pets here in the future.

This is a very nice clinic and the entire staff we dealt with for our appointment was fantastic. They are practical and no nonsense and offer all the luxury services some people want but they do not pressure you or try to make you feel like a bad pet parent if you don't do every single option. We were able to have our lil guy neutered fully for about $305 and that was reasonable. So many other places were much more than that and he was instantly happy and has fully healed. They called to check on him and seem like a great place to be. We will be using this vet clinic going forward.
Take your pet anywhere else. This place is a business, not a pet healthcare facility. All they care about is money, not healing your pet. In fact, they’ll recommend “care” for your pet that makes them the most money, and they will give you an attitude if you choose another route. We were warned about this by numerous previous customers of theirs, and we should have listened. And not only do they not care about anything but making the most amount of money from your beloved pets misery, they charge more than double the amount as other veterinary hospitals in the area. The same visit here verses other area vets was $600 vs $174. Stellar care and compassion from the staff at other vets vs the business like nature of every interaction with Liberty Hill Animal Hospital. Choose any other vet. It’ll save you money and they’ll probably care about your pet.
I took my adult son and his sick older male cat "Indy" to the Liberty Hill Animal Hospital on Sunday, 3.22.26 after having a poor experience with another emergency vet clinic in Killeen the night before. Liberty Hill Animal hospital was not just a place to receive vet care for our cat but it was a place of compassion, respect, and professionalism while being cost effective when my son found out his cat had an infection and was in DKA from an unknown diabetes diagnosis. Dr Coonrod was so caring and compassionate when my son made the decision to put his cat down so he would no longer suffer. It was a very hard decision to make and there was no judgment from the staff. We wanted to leave a review because normally unhappy customers leave reviews and we are more than happy with the care received that day. Thank you for making a hard day a little easier.
