I recently tried House Of Desi The Dhaba, and it seriously delivered. I wasn’t totally sure what to order but the guys working there were incredible, with their recommendations we tailored the food so I’d have a great first experience. I started with the Bonda, a deep fried snack with a spiced potato filling. It was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, with great flavor throughout. But honestly the Masala Dosa, this is the showstopper. The dosa came as a large, crispy cone that was easy to tear and scoop with. You wrap it around a flavorful jalapeño spiced potato filling that paired perfectly with the sauces they served alongside it. Every bite just worked. I actually took a picture when it first came out…and then another of the last bite, because I was so busy enjoying it that I forgot to take anything in between. Definitely not a to go item but worth it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for authentic, flavorful Indian street food.
