About the role
Job Bulletin - - Williamson County Operations Specialist - Elections Reporting directly to Operations Supervisor, responsible for performing daily inventory tasks including assembly, transporting and upkeep of voting machines and supplies. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED - Performs inventory control by tracking supplies, voting machines and equipment - Assists in preparing voting system for use prior to each election by loading election data into voting system units - Completes assembly on voting machines, supply kits, and storage units - Assists with preparing supply kits and distributes them to various polling locations - Performs data entry for work orders and schedules preventative and routine maintenance as needed - Develops and maintains operational routines and procedures for equipment, including organizing, storing, and arranging inventory for daily use - Reviews, collects, transcribes, and processes paperwork and prepares documents for electronic use - Orders, purchases, receives, and unpacks materials, supplies, parts tools, and equipment essential for elections operations - Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance of various machines and equipment - Aids in implementing security measures to protect confidential storage of ballots and voting systems - Assist with asset management by creating and maintaining inventory logs for machines and equipment - Compiles and retains daily, monthly, and annual reports related to inventory and warehouse functions - Serves as a primary contact for the election Judge’s hotline and assists with complex issues from elections judges and staff - Monitors multiple departmental email accounts related to elections operations - Attends all meetings and trainings, as required - Performs special duties as assigned ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS - Reports directly to – Operations Supervisor - Direct Reports – No PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Position involves frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, heavy lifting, and operating equipment (up to 45 lb.) Position involves safely operating a motor vehicle ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS - Work is primarily indoors, with exposure to inclement weather - May be required to perform some work outdoors in inclement weather (heat, cold, wet conditions) - Exposure to dust, and high noise levels - Regular travel between work sites as required IRREGULAR

What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of warehouse/inventory control experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of database programs
- Required within thirty (30) days of employment
- Valid Texas driver’s
- Forklift Operator Certification PREFERRED
- Associate degree in a related field
- Two (2) years of warehouse experience in a elections or public sector department capacity
- Registered Elections Official (REO) Certification within two (2) years of employment
