Job Bulletin - - Williamson County Juvenile Services Nurse Supervisor Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Juvenile Services, is responsible for coordinating the delivery of healthcare services to residents in the care, custody, supervision, and control of Williamson County Juvenile Services including youth in detention, residential programs, JJAEP, and court/field services. What you'll bring
- and guidance of the Williamson County Juvenile Services Medical Director
- Handles and creates work schedules for nursing staff for essential coverage
- Provides training to nursing staff on new procedures, processes and changes implemented by department leadership
- Performs performance reviews, makes and recommends personnel changes within department parameters
- Oversees care provided by nursing staff to ensure guidelines, compliance and processes are followed accurately
- Collaborates with Juvenile Services staff to coordinate health care services for residents
- Administers care to residents with acute and chronic illnesses, and manages infectious disease control
- Creates and manages medical evaluation program
- Coordinates with psychiatric providers to administer care and manage medications
- Administers and distributes medications to residents
