About the role
The Behavior Specialist will develop, implement and coach campus administration and educators on behavioral programming for students with significant behavioral needs, PreK-12.
What you'll do
- Experience:
- Minimum of three years' experience teaching regular or special education (public school preferred)
- Minimum of two years' experience working with students with significant behavioral needs
What you'll bring
- Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in special education, or a related field
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Special Knowledge / Skills:
- Solid understanding of basic behavioral principles
- SAMA certified, or willing/able to be certified within 30 days of hire
- BCBA preferred, but not required
