Worked with Dr Powell today with a very sick pneumonia dog & I was very impressed! Thorough, knowledgeable and didn't rush through everything.

Today I took my little dog Copito to the vet, and honestly I was very scared because I didn’t have an appointment and I don’t speak English. But from the moment I walked in, everything was amazing. They treated me with such kindness, they made sure someone spoke Spanish, and they explained everything my dog had in so much detail, which I understood really well. They never made me feel out of place. Plus, the care was excellent and the price very reasonable. I am super satisfied and I definitely recommend them.

There are moments in life that are incredibly difficult, and saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest. On one of the saddest days of my life, when my precious dog Justice of 13 years was nearing the end due to widespread cancer and loss of mobility, Woof Animal Hospital showed a level of compassion and care that I will never forget. They were able to get me in the very same day, and from the moment I arrived, every member of their staff treated us with genuine kindness, empathy, and respect. This was not my regular veterinarian, yet they cared for us as if we had been longtime clients. I truly believe they went above and beyond. Though it was never mentioned, it was clear they made time for us during what was likely their lunch hour—we were the only ones there around 11:30. That kind of quiet sacrifice speaks volumes about their character and dedication. They made an unbearable moment as peaceful and dignified as possible, showing not only professional excellence but heartfelt compassion. Because of this experience, I will be transitioning all of my veterinary care to Woof Animal Hospital. They have earned my complete trust. I cannot say enough. Please accept my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for being a shining light of dignity on such a dark day. May God bless each of you as you have so deeply blessed us. Thank you. I should have left this review about a month or two ago, when I went. My 11 year old dog Chloe had a front paw that was swollen at the elbow. As my usual vet doesn't do xrays or blood work, he referred me to Woof. Chloe cannot see and her back legs are weak, so the swollen dint paw didn't help. I set an appointment and realized, when I got there, that I forgot my leash. As Chloe doesn't walk very far or fast, I rarely need it. I stepped in the door and asked about it and the receptionist said, "we have leashes." I told her I usually carried her as it was quicker, and she said, "that's fine, just bring her in." As there wasn't anyone there at the moment, she opened a room and just had me carry her there. The Tech came in and after getting all the pertinent information, she asked, "How far would you like us to go?" This is a relevant question as procedures cost money. I told her that I was willing to do an exam and xray and see from there. I told her about Chloe's weak back legs, so she picked her up (55 lb dog) and carried her to the xray and carried her back. When Dr Chang came in, she said it was an infection, but that the xrays showed spots on her lungs. I was not suprised, based on some other things not revelant to this review. We discussed things going forward. She took the time to talk, listen, and determine forward progress. The cost for exam, xrays and medicine was very reasonable. It was a wonderful experience on a first time visit.

We absolutely love Woof Animal Hospital and can’t say enough great things about Dr. Chang and the entire team. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and you can truly feel how much they care about each and every pet that walks through their doors. Dr. Chang stands out for taking a thoughtful, holistic approach—blending traditional veterinary medicine with alternative options like supplements and additional therapies when appropriate. We especially appreciate the referrals for hyperbaric treatment at All Creatures Hyperbaric, which shows a commitment to looking at the full picture of a pet’s health. It’s rare to find a vet who combines knowledge, compassion, and open-minded care so seamlessly. We feel completely confident trusting them with all of our pets. Highly recommend!

It's really hard letting an older pet go but today I came here and and let my best friend of 18 years go in peace. The staff was amazing. Very professional. The vet was amazing. I forgot names because it was a hard time but I will never forget the peace and love. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Chang is amazing. Her approach is both professional and welcoming. She clearly explains the diagnosis and thoroughly discusses the treatment plan. If you have questions, she takes the time to address each one and makes sure all concerns are heard. It’s evident that she genuinely cares about her patients. Thank you, Dr. Chang!

We had to say goodbye to one of our family members tonight, and losing a pet is such a difficult and emotional experience. I became very worried later in the day when our cat’s condition deteriorated, and I didn’t think she would make it through the weekend. I called several vets in the area and was told it was too late to be seen. When I called Woof, they told us to come right over. They took the time to do a thorough health check and carefully explained what they found. More than that, they truly cared. They gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye, stayed after closing without ever making us feel rushed, and treated our cat with dignity and respect. We moved to Texas a few years ago and have visited several vets in Austin. Woof is absolutely at the top of my list. Thank you for your compassion and kindness during such a hard moment.
