SpinZone Laundry on Mays in Round Rock is still a good setup, even though it is no longer 24 hours. That part is worth knowing ahead of time, especially for people who used to count on late-night laundry runs, but the place still does what it needs to do well. The location is convenient, the layout is easy to work with, and it has that practical laundromat feel where you can get in, handle your clothes, and keep your day moving. For families, busy workers, or anyone trying to knock out bigger loads, SpinZone still makes sense. I do miss the 24-hour flexibility, but the space itself is still useful, accessible, and worth keeping in the rotation if you’re in the Round Rock area. Good machines, good setup, and a dependable spot when you plan around the updated hours.

Today as I tried to add money on my laundromat card from my debit card, the machine took $24; from my debit card; before a selection amount was made; without my permission. I showed proof of the withdrawal; and spoke with the attendant that was on duty; he reached out to the manager; by phone & text. I was told that there was nothing they could do, and I would have to take it up with my bank. No money was ever added to my laundromat card. I’ve been coming to this place for three years with no problems until today and it will be my last time!

Let me start with the positives. If you go on the weekend, there are plenty of machines available—both washers and dryers. The atmosphere is upbeat, TVs are on with different programming, and the music is playing loud enough to keep it enjoyable. Now for the negatives—and why this place gets 2 stars. On 04/09/26 around 6:30 PM (Thursday), machine availability was very limited due to drop-off customers. Only the higher-priced machines were open, both for washers and dryers. One of the machines also appeared to be faulty and required excessive force just to close the door. I asked one of the 10+ staff members (in Spanish, since most of the staff appeared to be Spanish-speaking only) if that was normal. I was met with confusion and directed to speak with “Sam,” who was identified as the person in charge—and from what I could tell, the only one actually working. What really stood out, though, was the lack of professionalism. One of the employees had a male visitor who appeared to be her boyfriend. They were openly hugging and kissing near the sliding doors, with no regard for customers or children in the facility. If you’ve read this far, the location itself isn’t bad—but timing matters. I’d recommend going on the weekends if you want a smoother experience.

This place is great, clean, helpful staff, and pretty calm atmosphere. The ONLY thing I have to gripe about is the card thing. You can only use your card twice then you won’t be able to have access to ANYTHING for the rest of the day. They think it’s helpful but honestly ITS NOT!

I went to Round Rock,Tx location for the first time, I used the credit card machine to purchase the pay card and put in amount on the card. It showing my card not working/chip not accepting,but my bank showing it took $20. I asked the front for help and they can’t speak English and nobody know how to help the customers. They even called the manager on FaceTime for me to chat. I wasn’t having it and who leave somebody at front who can’t help customers with issues and can’t speak English? I left with no money return and no laundry be done. They need to update their machine and manager need to train people when they are left in charge. Took my $20 and nothing done….. don’t go there. I went somewhere else.

I can't give enough stars to express my gratitude for spin zone and the entire staff. I have used their laundry delivery service for several years now. The best customer service I've ever recieved is from those who help make my day to day a little more manageable. My weekly hero goes by the name of Gary he is the cherry on top of the amazing laundry service he goes above and beyond just delivery. I'm happy to call him friend and is a huge reason I'm even worried to move 😆 Gary is one of a kind!
