Solid Foundation Preschool has truly been a blessing to our family. From the directors to the teachers and staff, every person we’ve encountered has shown such genuine love, care, and passion for children. Their hearts for these kids are so evident in everything they do.
I was nervous about the transition since our kids had spent most of their lives at home with me - but they’ve absolutely thrived. They look forward to going each day, which says so much about the environment and people there.
If you’re looking for a place where your little one will grow not just in knowledge but in faith too, this is the place. We’re so thankful to be part of this sweet community!
5/1/2025 update - We now have two kids attending, and two years later, we are still blown away by this amazing school. Would give it 10 stars if I could! The teachers and directors are wonderful, and our kids have a great time and learn a ton.
Original review - Amazing faith-based preschool near University & A. W. Grimes in Round Rock. There are options for 2 days, 3 days (MWF), or 5 days. Hours are 9 am - 2 pm with optional before and aftercare. This is our daughter’s first year here, and we have had a great experience so far. Highly recommend!
My kids have been going here since they were 2 and we have nothing but good things to say. The teachers are amazing and my kids are learning so much!
Our daughter loves attending Solid Foundation, and we loved her teachers. I knew she was safe and loved. We are sad to leave but we’ve moved across town. Teachers are happy there and that’s a huge sign of quality!
I’m so grateful to find this school, I couldn’t trust any school after a horrible experience we have had with the other school but they are more than trustworthy and I can leave my daughter in her school right now with peace in mind and weekend she use to say I miss my teacher, miss Valerie is wonderful, I’m super happy with them and this is a honest review from bottom of my heart ❤️
We absolutely adore SFP! Our son has attended for one year of preschool and now is in the five day kindergarten program. We are blown away by the care, love, and foundational education (both biblical foundation & educational)! It is a gem of a school and we are thankful for the way the staff has blessed our family.
We put our daughter in this school nearly 2 years ago and we ALL fell in love with this place! The staff is amazing/sweet and is always consistent. We get pictures daily and weekly focus updates on what the kids are up to and learning. The directors are amazing and very professional. I am so glad we chose SFP for our daughter because she is thriving here.
As a teacher, I have always understood the importance of providing a safe place for students to learn. Now as a mom, dropping off my own at Solid Foundations, I have been so fortunate to have that being poured into my own boys. I have two boys who absolutely love going to school! My 4 year old comes home and shares every single lesson he has learned, because he had so much fun doing it and remembers it all! I thought my three year old would never want to stay, but he cries when it is not his day to attend. From teachers, assistants, directors, we feel so blessed to be a part of this wonderful place!
Both my kids have gone to this school and I can't say enough good things about it! It has a smaller school vibe that makes me feel more connected to the teachers and happenings in the school. Many of the workers have been there for years so I know they don't have a lot of turn over with employees.
They are so amazing! They take special care and close consideration for each individual child’s needs. Great at communicating with parents and updating them on things they need to know. If your child is struggling with something in particular they will help in every way they can. For one of my kiddos it was potty training, her teacher was a tremendous help and my daughter is doing great now. They have a fun approach to learning my kids are eager to learn what they have to teach them. They do fun events around holidays such as classroom Christmas parties, and they did their first ever fall fest this year which was great! My kids are excited to go to school everyday. I feel like I’m dropping my kids off with family, they are so amazing. I am going to be so sad when my kids outgrow this school.
