Sometimes I drive all the way from Waco to Round Rock because the steam bath doesn't work in Waco . The swimming pool at the YMCA in Round Rock has an opening to see the sky while you swimm. Plus the showers have soap,shampoo and conditioners. All around it's worth it to drive 75 miles and enjoy what the Waco YMCA does not provide to us members
Our daughter participates in several activities at the Y: gymnastics, kids night out, and we had her 3rd birthday party in Tiny Town. For a private party it was reasonably priced, included pizzas and juice boxes, and a huge inside space plus the fenced patio area with tricycles.
Called to get my children into Camp Round Rock today at 5 am since my sitter canceled last minute at 4:30 AM. Lorraine told me to call back at 7 am when camp opened to see if it was possible and to coordinate with the camp director. When I called back, she got the registration re-opened for me and got me through the paperwork by 7:25 AM. I am so grateful!! She truly went over and beyond for me, and I know the kids will have a blast. Love this location! I’ve have many wonderful experiences here!
When I first enrolled my son there, it was okay. It felt little off. Felt like people wasn't friendly, very award at the most almost every day. I hate to give this a bad review, but my experience with YMCA preschool was not good. There was lack of leadership, lack of staff, and my son keeps continue to get hurt from biting, falling, and not being watched from the teachers. Ms. Taylor is amazing, other's I don't feel comfortable with. YMCA Preschool won't tell me why my son is continuing to get hurt especially bites from other kids. When I first met Ms. Ray, she was amazing and made feel comfortable, I see great leadership from her. When the good people are gone, I decided to find another daycare to keep my son safe and secure that I can trust.

I’ve been going to the CHASCO Y for a year now. The gym is nice, the people are nice, and the child watch staff are 5 stars in taking care of my children. However there has been many times I have to wait for child watch. It doesn’t matter if I get there at 8, 8:40, 9 or so on. Most of the time the reason is they are short staffed. This is extremely frustrating. Because the wait can be anywhere from 30-1hour. It would be easier if the child watch hours were longer at least. Instead of closing at noon. I did try another gym, but the staff did not care for my children the way the staff does at the Y. So we are sticking with it. I do hope the Y considers better staffing, and or longer child watch windows. Because until they do I won’t be able to sign up for training or classes, due to being unsure if I’ll have a wait line.

My granddaughters privat party is amazing!! The room keeps kids active and they got pizza and juices!! Well worth it!! Kids are having a blast!!
We love teaching CPR here. Staff and others guests are very kind and helpful.
