Probably one of the most disorganized operations I have ever delt with. They are a member owned co-op that acts light a public utility. Standard operating procedures are changed in the wind and the customer is expected to get an education in electricity distribution. Cone on guys do a better job!
The amount of power outages I’ve experienced with this awful company in the last 18 months is way more than I had in 3 other states in decades. It’s pathetic.
The electricity bill is only 9 days overdue and you disconnected. For $150. Who does that?? In the middle of the summer? Absolutely ridiculous. Y'all only pull this crap because you know you have a monopoly and there is no other option in Cedar Park.

Random outage to over 6,000 homes restored in less than 25 minutes! The original estimate was over 3 hours. Very pleasantly surprised.
Too many power outages! I have lived all over the country and have never experienced anything like this before. My family has been in the Georgetown area for just 5 months and have already had as many outages as we had the whole time we lived in Florida for 5 years! And FL has hurricanes as an excuse! So frustrating!

I don't typically think about reviewing my utility companies, but felt that PEC deserved a quick shout out. We had an overnight emergency that wiped out nearly all the electricity in our home. My Dad is disabled and on oxygen so this was a big deal for us. They came out very quickly, worked with our electrician and we were able to resolve our Meter box issue within 2 hours or so. Thank you to the PEC techs that helped us out!
Let's just talk irony. The Electric company who is a non profit is all about fees. They are not a NON profit that is a lie: read the disconnection notice. If you can't pay they shut off your Electric charge a restoration fee and deposit. So if you couldn't pay the bill how can you pay and pay additional? Also without electric in winter during a Global Pandemics! They should be banned from offering service in Texas. I'm make noise because I didn't even know I missed a bill when on auto pay. Darn card expired Feb 1st 2022. Same day is bill was due. Then they are not open on weekends to resolve so will have no electric and will be forced to pay the fees to turn on. This is usa for you business can ruin people lives. I need to get solar asap and get away from this provider asap
