The atmosphere was very Texan and felt much like a steakhouse. The food was pretty good, service was great, would definitely recommend for a dinner place.

This place is so good and consistent. We have been going here for years and it has never let us down on quality. By quality I mean the degree of excellence of thing. If you want affordable and flavorful food then come here.

The Server Deborah was overall fabulous, friendly and whitty. Just was looking for her at the end of the meal for boxes. Went here with a group of six but will discuss mine and my husband's meals. My husband had the "Southern Crispy Chicken Sandwich with pimiento cheese, pickled green tomato,jalapeño mayo, JAK slaw". It looked really good and he said was very delicious! He ate every bit of it. I was personally disappointed with my food! I ordered the "13 spiced chicken pasta - red pepper linguine, spinach linguine, fresh jalapeño, chipotle cream sauce, Cotija cheese. And I did not receive the requested addition of fresh spinach and nor were they light on the sauce. The taste of the sauce and chicken were ok. The chicken was a bit overcooked. And it was weird to just have strips of jalapeño placed on top vs thinly sliced and more incorporated in the dish. Had to chop them up to enjoy them. BUT what ruined the dish was my severly overcooked pasta. 😬 I despise mushy pasta! Unfortunately, I was not with a group I wanted to return my food with. I did hear very positive things about previously ordered meals by my friends so will try Jack Allens again. As most people, I just hate paying for food I do not enjoy.

Excellent locally-sourced Texan comfort food. We visited for dinner. Service was great and food arrived quickly. Everything we ordered was delicious - including the cocktails and the dessert.

Had such a great experience at Jack Allen’s Kitchen! We tried the pecan crusted chicken spinach salad and the sweet chili shrimp & noodle salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, perfectly balanced, and honestly exceeded expectations. A special thank you to Elizabeth for her help—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made great recommendations that we really enjoyed. Her service made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back again!
