Pathetic after sales service. Once he has cash in hand and is out the door he doesn’t respond to any issues. July 2020: I hired him to clean and seal grout in the master bathroom shower of 3yrd old house I bought. The shower by the way was still in great shape. I just wanted a good cleaning done, and filling of couple of very small spots. I also asked him if he can seal the grout and he said he will and claimed a 15yr guarantee on the grout seal. August 2021: Within a year the shower looks way worse than it did after 3 yrs of ownership. Whatever he used as a sealant seems to have served the exact opposite purpose. I reached out to him with pictures and initially he feigned ignorance of even having worked at my house. And when I finally located and shared the receipt copy with him, he said the earliest he can send someone over to take a look is by December 6th!! Also, when I mentioned the 15 year guarantee on the sealant, he said he will check with the sealant manufacturer!! What the hell? Giovanni it was you who claimed the guarantee when you spoke to me face to face, not the manufacturer! Nor is that mentioned anywhere in the receipt! January 2022: December came and went by, it is January and I’m still texting him, calling him(he won’t answer), leaving him voicemail(he won’t call back). For all the reviewers who gave him 5 stars, just wait a year…see what happens. I’ll pray you don’t have to reach out to him for any of his “guarantee” claims. This is my worst experience with any kind of contractor ever.
They've done a fantastic job regrouting tile floors in both of our bathrooms, recaulking the shower and applying silicon baseboards which gave the bathrooms a clean and finished look. They removed the old grout by hand which I appreciated a lot as having dust everywhere was the reason I hadn't done it sooner (companies I was contacting previously were using tools creating a lot of dust). They were very professional, clean, and respectful of our home. I highly recommend Great Grout to anyone.
Replaced my soap holder and redid the grout in shower. They did great work, would definitely recommend.
The grout at the bottom of my shower was disintegrating to the point where water stains had started showing on the ceiling downstairs. I randomly selected this company for their help and they did a fantastic job. Rather than just patching the crumbling grout, they cut out ALL of the existing grout before replacing and resealing it. It looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier with the price I paid.
We had pretty much settled in on a contractor when we gave Giovanni a call. He responded promptly, explained his team's process, and made the awesome recommendation that we extend the scope of the cleaning to include areas adjacent to the kitchen tile. This was not suggested by any of the other firms we called. Even with the additional square footage, Great Grout's pricing was extremely competitive. The team that performed the work was meticulous, careful not to disturb adjacent areas, and efficient. 8 years of kitchen grease that wreaked havoc on our floors has been eliminated, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. il perfetto!
Giovanni did a great job re-caulking our master bath shower. The old caulk was removed and replaced with 100% mildew-resistant silicone. He is reasonably priced compared with other quotes I received. He gets booked pretty far out, so I recommend calling as soon as you know you need someone.
I just had my grout cleaned and re-sealed and my caulking redone in the shower by Great Grout. They went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. AND were lower priced than the two other quotes I got. My shower looks amazing and I highly recommend them!! I am very grateful to them as my shower has been out of commission for several weeks.
I had Giovanni come to my home and give me an estimate to repair and replace the grout in 3 bathrooms, our kitchen, and family room. His Team arrived soon after and did an outstanding job with the grout and sink seals. His Team was professional, focused on doing a great job, and they cleaned with with no trace of having work done that day. Our bathrooms, kitchen, and family room are back to "move in day" condition. These guys really were great. I had 3 different plumbers and 2 handymen try to fix my leaking shower over about 15 visits. None of them could figure out the problem. Great Grout came and re-grouted the tile and sealed the shower and the problem was fixed in less than 2 days. I highly recommend them.
