Part 1: My work truck kept dying at start and then not turning over. I called Alain late in the day and he said he would come out the next morning. He came to my home in Hutto around 11 am and diagnosed the problem. Because the truck was running, I agreed that he could take it back to his shop since it would be faster and easier for him to do the work there rather than in front of my house. He did the repairs, billed my boss directly, and brought the truck back at the end of the business day. Alain was friendly, professional, and honest; making suggestions for upcoming repairs needed. I'm thankful he was available on such short notice! I highly recommend! Repairs: replaced alternator, belt, and tensioner. Oil change. Part 2: My son bought a used Mazda3 a couple of months ago. He has a list of repairs from another auto shop where he had a pre-purchase inspection done and he scheduled time with Alain to start knocking things off the list. The first was to be the Valve Cover Gasket and spark plugs. Alain had that done in good time and was preparing an estimate for the next thing we planned for. One of those items was an undetermined vibration while driving. Alain right away diagnosed the problem - an urgent one - missed by the pre-purchase inspection. Thankfully, we went to Alain and he was able to replace the badly deteriorated motor mounts and CV axels. I hate to think what might have happened had Alain not found the cause of that vibration!
