As long as I live in Georgetown I will be a customer here. It is such a breath of fresh air to find an auto shop with honest, caring staff! Highly recommend.

Friendly efficient and quick. Excellent service.
Excellent customer service and quality work
I had a yearly missions test and they installed new windshield wiper blades for me very professional great customer service and a fair price
Another outstanding visit this week. Great customer service, always friendly and affordable. The tech did an outstanding job replacing my windshield wiper blades, battery, air filter and brakes and rotars, as well as performed an alignment, tire rotation and oil change. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
My 76 year old mom brought her 2018 Honda CR-V here for its 60,000-mile service, and while the essential mechanical work was completed, I am extremely disappointed by the aggressive upselling of unnecessary services to a senior customer. The shop charged over $630 for "Platinum Fuel Induction" and "Climate Control/Evap Cleaning" services. Neither of these are required or even recommended by Honda’s factory maintenance schedule. While these are common high-margin "add-ons" for shops, charging a customer $325 for a fuel cleaning service on a car that was running fine is excessive. Furthermore, while they were busy selling her $300+ in AC cleaning, they failed to perform or even list the Engine Air Filter replacement—a basic, essential 60k-mile requirement that actually impacts engine health. The total bill came to over $1,500. While the staff is "nice," being polite doesn't excuse taking advantage of a customer's lack of technical knowledge to pad the invoice with hundreds of dollars in unnecessary cleaning "kits." If you bring your vehicle here, be prepared to cross-reference every recommendation with your owner's manual, or you will likely leave paying for things your car does not need.
First I want to start by saying THANK YOU! This shop came highly recommended to me after multiple failed attempts at other places. Including the actual dealership the car was purchased. Keith was the name that was dropped, but Shawn took care of me from day 1 (don't beat me up if I incorrectly spelled your name) He was absolutely phenomenal. As a woman I was very scared that my vehicle wouldn't get the care it deserved as the typical American stereotype we've grown to know. Boy!! Was I wrong. I was so confident that my car would be taken care of as soon as I left it and walked out the door. My nerves went from sky high to extra calm, because I knew it was now in good hands.Shawn reassured me he'd be up front about everything and he was. We had hiccups with the extended warranty, but Shawn along with Keith made sure my son and I were not going to leave the shop without a safely running car. The empathy and communication was top tier! It changed my everyday life and I want to make sure that is known. They offer a shuttle service which was the icing on the cake. This was the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic shop. Everyday I was called or texted to keep me posted. No stone was left unturned. I recommended this shop to anyone that has issues small to large. I work for the city and everyone recommended them and I see why. I could go on and on. Just know they are absolutely amazing and anyone you get on the phone has a sense of humor. How can you go wrong? Thank you so much Christian Brothers Brandy
Took my car in to have an inspection done. The staff were friendly and the wait wasn’t long. I have been to this business in the past and will go again. Thank you
My wife and I have 2 Toyotas that we starting bringing to Christian Brothers around 2021 when our mechanic here in Georgetown retired and closed his shop. The reviews for CB looked good, and I liked that they had a community presence. I had to have around $5000 worth of work done to my Tundra around that time (tie rod, transmission, and a few other things), and it seemed to be a good experience. However, there were some grinding sounds coming from the wheel areas thereafter, and the steering felt quite different. I took my truck back there several times trying to get things sorted out and finally did to some avail. Fast forward to Dec 2023, I took my Tundra in to the Toyota Dealership in Round Rock for an oil change, as we had decided to stop using CB due to some issues my wife experienced, which I will get to in a moment, along with the issues I experienced. When Toyota did their vehicle inspection, they found several things done inadequately and tie rods that were not properly installed. Very frustrating. My wife has a Sienna van, and she had CB do her brakes. Turns out, CB put on after-market brakes without telling her, and they did not install them correctly including discarding specific parts that are necessary for the brakes to function properly and quietly and to protect the rotors. Glad nothing happened! In summary, CB folks are very nice when you deal with them, but their workmanship is subpar and not any cheaper than the dealership. In fact, by the time you pay CB and then pay your dealership, the cost is double. I would avoid CB for any work and just deal with your dealership where you can be more confident that the work on your vehicle is done correctly.
The best experience I've had at a mechanic, possibly any service provider. The professionalism is top notch. The service desk, Mr. Longoria, just impeccable professionalism. He typed every word of my explanation. How do I know? They have this amazing web app where they show you everything, everything. It took them one hour to sort through the electrical nightmare gremlins other mechanics wouldn't even touch. I got a text with full diagnostics, my own description "customer states" etc. it had pictures, it showed the technician(Isaiah) all the steps he took. They got the part ordered and put in no issues(PCM/ecm). Just amazing all around. I could go on and on. MIL is back on the road and car is running strong. THANK YOU CHRISTIAN BROTHERS
