I have yet to take my car here but I have received so many recommendations to come here from people I trust-and that says a lot about Francisco (I believe that’s his name.) I’m definitely going to see if he can install a new alternator for me. After reading the reviews it sounds like I will be in great hands-which is so hard to find these days.
Came here 2 weeks ago after finding out that I needed to have one of my knock sensors replaced. Francisco & the other guy(don't know his name, I'm sorry) took a look at my car & saw that I had a further issue with my head gasket. They even took the time to show me what was going on, Francisco even texted me a video of the issue. Afterward he of course recommended buying a knock sensor(in which I went to Advance Auto Parts across the street) instead of overcharging from somewhere else. Overall the price was not bad, very reasonable for the work they did and the diagnostic was no charge as well. I'm very fortunate to choose this shop as opposed to another place which was gonna charge me $1100. The only thing is they couldn't fix the head gasket, which is a lengthy job & not something they do. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend stopping here, these guys are phenomenal with their work & care about their customers!!
I needed some work done on my a/c to figure out where a leak might be coming from. I found this place and since it was so close just walked right in. It was I believe Francisco that helped me, but if you’re reading this please correct me! He was super friendly; I talked to him about what I thought it might be, he listened, and I left my Subaru forester with him. The next day he called and he couldn’t figure out what it was but did an a/c recharge along with adding a leak detector to figure out the leak( it’s a very slow leak, for me the last a/c recharge lasted maybe 8 months). And the prices were affordable! What I liked most was not only was he hospitable but he was honest. He didn’t try to upcharge me, he tackled the issue we talked about. The problem with other big mechanics in the round rock area that I noticed was their lack of customer service. I emailed 3 places, one of them being rising sun auto. I explained a separate issue with my car and all they sent was essentially, “oh it’s a Subaru, you need the engine replaced”. a 2-3 sentence reply at most. Didn’t try to take a look at it, didn’t say they would diagnose it, or even to say hey bring it in. Not even a “with regards, (auto shop). Like who is writing these responses lol. Anyways sorry for the rambling, go to this shop if you need work done!!
Francisco was amazing! Super nice and welcoming the whole time. Even though there were people ahead of me, he still had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. What I really liked was how honest he was. I had bought some extra stuff from AutoZone for my turn signals, and he told me straight up that it wasn’t needed and could actually do more harm than good. I really appreciated that he explained everything and didn’t just try to add things on. Great service, fast, and honest people! I’ll definitely be coming back here and recommending them to anyone who needs work done on their car!
Thanks to Francisco for helping me change my signal turns ASAP he got me in and out in less than 5 mins! He is very professional, attentive, amazing customer service, very knowledgeable and super nice! I would recommend to come here for a honest work that you need on your vehicles! This was my first time here and I could see how much they take pride into their work!
We've been coming to Francisco for almost 10 years. He'll work with you.
