I've been here for service before , and I have always left feeling like I have received great customer service but this time was different. I was given a quote for multiple services, which I decided to move forward with. A few hours later I received a call that they were unable to finish all the work my vehicle needed because they could not find the struts my car needed. I get it. They told me they would call back when they received them. Four days later they called, I scheduled to go back and asked what the balance I owed was. They gave me an amount and when I got home I added up the prior service amount and the amount they said I still owed , and it was higher than the initial quote for all the work. I called and was advised that they had to charge me more because of where they received them from was more than they expected, and they would credit me an oil change next time. I get that they are not a big corporation, but not only did I pay more than the original quote, but I was given a coupon for buy 2 more oil changes get one free, not the credit for a free oil change next time. I didn't say anything because I was very disappointed. Obviously the hassle of making 2 appointments, the quote going up, and then not honoring what they said would happen let's me know where I stand with their business.
In this car market, buying another car isn’t always the best option. We decided to get our engine replaced (2014 VW SE) so I called Austin Automotive - best decision ever. Emery & his team were super respectful & helpful. Within the first call, he reassured me that it is something they do all the time. He called VW directly and found a brand new engine. He hooked it up and replaced a whole bunch of stuff, covered stuff that didn’t initially come up, and fixed it up in a matter of days. He even texted me with updates such as photos of the parts, and was very transparent with everything. No secrets, no bs. Just a genuine shop trying to help people. I really appreciate Emery and his team. This is the team to trust. Thank you, Emery 🙏🏾!
Terrence was great helped me get an oil change and tire rotation clam with my insurance didn’t have to go trough the whole process because he did it himself.
