Where Art Meets Sustainability
The Spinning Wheel ATX in Leander is more than a pottery studio—it’s a creative sanctuary where sustainability and self-expression go hand in hand. Located at 2205 S Bagdad Rd, Leander, this welcoming space invites both beginners and seasoned makers to explore conscious creativity through hands-on clay workshops and upcycled art projects. Founded by artist and educator Rakhi, The Spinning Wheel ATX originally began in India as a mission to teach “conscious art.” Now rooted in Texas, the studio continues that purpose by encouraging mindful creativity through pottery, recycled crafts, and art-centered community giving.
Pottery, Parties & Play
Whether you're interested in learning the basics of wheel throwing or just looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon, The Spinning Wheel ATX offers beginner-friendly classes and walk-in sessions for all ages. Guests can create pottery from scratch, try out clay hand-building, or host a birthday party where everyone gets to take home their own handmade keepsake.
Group workshops and kids’ tie-dye sessions are popular for celebrations and team-building outings, and the studio’s relaxed vibe makes even first-timers feel at ease.
A Mission to Give Back
Community is at the heart of everything here. The Spinning Wheel ATX regularly hosts creative service projects, like basketball weaving with nonprofit partners, to support social impact and empowerment through art. It’s a place where your creativity can help shape something bigger.
