We came in on a Saturday to buy some fertilizer and garden soil for our yard and the manager was very disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude. He commented about how annoyed he was that he had to work on a Saturday because he never works on Saturdays (God forbid). He yelled commands at his employee in the store and to his employees over his walking-talkie, treating them like animals. He was really rude to all of the people who were waiting in line and when he finally got to helping us, he so was condescending and smug. What an absolute jerk. My hope is that all of the employees working there find new jobs and work for people who treat them with respect. Luckily there are hundreds of other places to buy dirt so I never have to go to Whittlesey again. Forgot to mention that the fertilizer he insisted we buy didn’t even work. It did nothing.
