Whitestone Brewery

We came here this evening for my daughters third birthday and were so disappointed by our experience. The kids were so excited to play outside but we didn’t realize there was smoking on the patio. There is a “designated smoking area” but it’s RIGHT next to the other area and the smoke travels easily. One group was chain smoking NOT in the designated area and it was so unpleasant, not to mention dangerous, for the kids, especially the two 3 month olds in our group. So we sat inside, no problem, but the entire inside was smoky as well from the door constantly opening. It is not a family friendly place at all (confusing since they have a play area) and we won’t be back. Yes, I realize this is a brewery and not just a pizza place but the atmosphere wasn’t like this at all when we’ve been before. The word our group kept thinking of was “trashy.”

Great beer, chill atmosphere, friendly people. a nice local pub to hang out at. The staff are all professional and service oriented. Our favourite bartender is Terrance. Sometimes we come in just to see him and say hi.

Whitestone Brewery is such a great spot! They have 600 Degrees Pizza inside, and the food is amazing. I ordered the pickle pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza, but they also offer plenty of classic options. The sourdough crust is so good, and I love that they also have a cauliflower crust option. The service was excellent and quick, the employees were all very friendly, and the beers were delicious. My favorites are the light beers, but they also have lots of other options like boozy slushies and sangria. You order drinks at one counter and food at another, which is super easy. There’s a great outdoor area with plenty of seating and a playground that’s easy to keep an eye on—perfect for families. The patio is one of my favorite parts. Beyond pizza, they also offer wings, sandwiches, and salads, all made by 600 Degrees. They host fun special nights like karaoke and music bingo, and even have a 21+ cigar smoking area. Overall, great service, great drinks, and seriously delicious food. Highly recommend!

Beer is good but waitstaff is sloppy. Eating wings behind the bar, licking her fingers and touching hair and face and then serving drinks without washing and unloading clean glasses. Gross. Wanna eat, take a break. Do your job.
