The Waterford at Round Rock

Very clean, well staffed. The dining facility is wonderful. The fireplace in the front sitting area is a very relaxing touch

The staff has been very helpful with trying to keep Dad healthy. From watching the staff's interactions with the residence you can see they care. Tonight, the staff had a residence pass away on them due to age. They were all clearly upset with his passing. The Waterford has a monitor program engaged in the proper medical evaluation and healing teams necessary for the residence. From inhouse physical therapy, blood pressure, and other health checks the staff has kept Dad alive and truckin'. He enjoys 3 meals aday. Getting some needed rest. I hope he will continue to enjoy this location, the Waterford at Round Rock.

I cannot say enough good things about the way this property is managed. I moved my mother to The Waterford in January. I had trepidation because it wasn’t shiny and new like the place she was leaving but I wish I had moved her here first. Meg is wonderful, honest and listens. You can tell by the comfort and kindness of the residents that they feel safe and cared for. Meg runs a tight ship but does it with sincerity and compassion from the staff to the residents and their loved ones. This is what you should look for first when trying to find a place for the one you love even if it isn’t as new. Aging is difficult enough on everyone so you want a place where you know that your loved one is safe and as happy as they can be. Listen to the residents and they will let you know. I learned the hard way. The place we moved my mother out of was a nightmare even though it was bright and shiny and new. Also extremely expensive. If management is rotten all else will follow. Medications missing, medication mishandling, rude behavior, and dishonesty - it comes directly from the top down. Go check out the Waterford if you are looking.

The Waterford at Round Rock community is very welcoming and clean environment. The staff are attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. Knowing my father is surrounded by individuals who treat him with respect and compassion brings us peace of mind. We did go through a stressful period when a flood issue in his room took longer than expected to resolve. It was difficult seeing him displaced and not in his own familiar space. But when we reached out to the Executive Director, we felt heard, and supported. They expedited the repairs, and ensured the flooring was properly fixed so my father could safely return to his room. What meant the most to us was not just that the issue was resolved, but that it was handled with genuine care, compassion, and a clear commitment to my father’s comfort. That human touch made all the difference. Thank you for the continuous care.
