Good decent bbq if you're in the area and need a quick fix. Outdoor seating is nice and they have a little area for kids. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu

The waiter was nice. She asked provided with refills and ask if we needed anything several times. The server that brought our food was ok. Not as nice. Seemed to be in a hurry and felt rushed as he placed our plates down. (Plates in wrong order, one plate almost dropped)

Just don’t do it. There are many, many, many better bbq places out in the world. The sides aren’t any good either.

The service was amazing! I regretfully have to say the food was not good. Not at all. I do not understand how that constitutes as potato salad, I’ve never seen or tasted anything like that and it was not good. I would save your $$$.

My experience was outstanding, my husband and daughter got ribs, brisket and sausage plate. The meat literally fell off of the bone. I had the turkey which was juicy and flavorful. The price was consistent with any other BBQ place and definitely worth the cost. I will be back.

Well it was my first time eating at The Salt Lick and you know what they say about 1st impressions. I took my wife to eat there for her birthday because she wanted some good barbecue. The environment was great, the service was too. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the food there. I ordered a chopped beef and I swear all the meet in my sandwich was the burnt ends. The presentation of the sandwich looked great but when I bit into my sandwich, I was expecting a nice tastey, juicy experience, but instead I bit into a hard piece of burnt meat. I'm not the type to complain to the staff (I'm working on that) so I took a few more bites and the same. The beans and the coleslaw were terrific but I was not a big fan of the potato salad. I may or may not go back and yeah I know that I shouldn't judge a restaurant on just this one occasion so someday I may hit them back up.

Food was okay, better bring deep pockets pretty expensive. Did barbecue plates offer beans coleslaw and potato salad, I asked for fries instead of potato salad never realized it's almost a $7 up charge ouch. Went from hopping in to grab a lunch to spending almost 35 bucks.... Too expensive for me.
