By design, there are multiple sections in this restaurant, the bar area is more loud but the sections behind the doors are much better for more low-key conversations during dinner. Sometimes there's a long wait because they are usually busy. Also the food is fabulous and service is ultra attentive. All this adds up to a great time in a popular location. Count yourself lucky if you're joining the fun at Salt Traders Coastal Cooking!

New update 04/26: i do not recommend the shrimp enchiladas the the whole plate is the same taste with too much salt. Service was still excellent a little disappointed in the management on how the handled the complaint. Old review: Always enjoy the food and service. Favorite is the fish and shrimp plate. It is all fried but the fries are awesome.
We had our Wedding reception dinner at Salt Traders for 28 quests on 4/25/2026. Kenny was our contact rep through out the whole process including the lead for being our server along with one other. He communicated well and was informative. We cannot commend enough his attention to detail and assuring that all were taken care. We were all seated in a private room that accommodated all in attendance. He was very professional and helpful. The food was remarkable and varied in different dinner options. While the cost was somewhat pricey it was worth every dollar. Thank you Kenny for being so attentive and caring throughout our special wedding reception dinner.
We hosted my Moms 80th birthday in one of the private rooms today. Kenny has been working with us since Dec. He made this process so easy and pleasant from the first phone call to the day of the event. His food recommendations were spot on and he accommodated every request we made. Every dish was amazing and the service was top notch. I would recommend STCK for any event as well as a great place that serves great food. Thank you again to Kenny and the wonderful wait staff.
I come here every time I am in town for work. This trip, I waited until my last day to visit and was so so looking forward to the scallop risotto only to see it was no longer on the menu :( I was DISTRAUGHT. My bartender, David, was a delight and so much fun to hangout with. And the manager, Jack, even stopped by to listen to my woes and gave me some of the (new) risotto to take home to try - thanks Kenny for making it, it was DELISH! Overall, my experience was great and I had a wonderful time even without the delicious, amazing, so sad you removed, scallop risotto.
The atmosphere is casual, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared. Definitely one of my favorite spots—highly recommend and will be coming back!
