My wife and I moved to the area in November 2025 and we had visited the Hill Church before because that’s where our daughter and her husband have attended for a while. The pastor preaches the Word from the Bible. He has a skill for making the principles applicable to our everyday lives. The congregation genuinely cares for each other and others that are new. Many of them showed up to help us unload when we moved in. This is a loving fellowship living out their faith in Jesus.

The Hill has been such a blessing for our family. Pastor Jung teaches truth from the Bible in a way that makes the scripture applicable in our lives. We love the community and the home groups that help us get connected.

New to the area and unfortunately had to leave a really good church back home. This was the first church we tried in Liberty Hill and fortunately did not feel the need to “church shop”. We were looking for a church that did expository preaching instead of topical and that left us feeling convicted instead of “feel good” preaching. Everyone is kind and welcoming. It’s on the smaller side but we prefer that over big churches. Seem to have a good age range as well.

My wife and I have been a member of this church since it first began, and it’s truly been a blessing in our lives. There’s something incredibly special about being part of a church that genuinely feels like family. The leadership is caring and grounded in the Word, the is sound and relevant, and the sense of community is real. It’s not just a place to attend on Sundays, it’s a place to grow, serve, and walk through life with others. If your looking for a welcoming, Christ centered church with heart and purpose, I highly recommend visiting!

We had visited a few churches in the area, but this church feels like home. So many quality people who love genuinely and we love the potlucks! The Bible is taught, people are loved and has a great youth group for the kids. We love it here.

I LOVE THIS CHURCH!!! From day 1 the people have been some of the warmest people I've ever met. Their willingness listen to the Lord, to do what He has called them to do and to love people has been pretty overwhelming to me. God has used this group of people to bless my family in some incredible ways. If you are looking for a church that can become your family away from family, this is the church for you.
