Great experience. They take tome to listen. Thank you much!
The nurse and front desk staff was great. However, the doctor I saw was so incompetent. He wasn’t confident in the diagnosis and deflected the severity of my symptoms. Although my lab results came back negative for flu and strep, he didn’t know how to diagnose beyond the lab results. He was so dependent on the data only that when I would tell him other symptoms I had, he didn’t know how to respond. I could’ve just stayed home and received the same care.
Everyone was amazing! During a high stressful moment, they take care of everything.
No wait. Excellent care.
While the staff and doctor were nice, our overall experience was disappointing and left us with concerns about both billing transparency and patient communication. At check-in, we were required to complete a lengthy questionnaire and sign a form authorizing the clinic to automatically charge our credit card once billing was processed. In hindsight, this is a red flag that I missed. It would have been helpful to better understand the billing timeline and process up front. I called a few months after our visit to check on the bill and was told it is in process, and I should wait. We did not receive a bill until six months after the visit. The invoice was sent via text and email on a Thursday, and before we were able to reach anyone to review or clarify the charges (despite calling multiple times on Friday), our card was charged on Sunday. From a care perspective, after vitals were taken, we were informed that the clinic did not have the tools or resources to properly diagnose and were referred to another clinic. This made the visit feel incomplete and raised questions about whether we should have been seen in the first place. When we received the bill, the total was higher than we expected. When I reached out for clarification, I spoke with multiple billing reps and managers but received inconsistent explanations. No one was able to provide a clear, itemized breakdown beyond general descriptions like “new patient fee” or “fees depend on services provided,” which made it difficult to understand what we were actually being charged for. Because of this experience, we will not be returning. Suggestions for improvement: • Implement a basic screening process to ensure locations are equipped to meet patient needs • Provide clear, upfront communication about pricing structure and typical costs before a patient’s first visit • Clearly outline the billing and auto-payment timeline, so patients know when to expect charges • Ensure billing teams can provide consistent, itemized explanations of charges • Add a follow-up process after visits to check on your patient
Beware. Prescription was not sent to the pharmacy the night of the appointment, multiple calls to resolve. Received additional excessive bills without explanation following. My husband was charged over $800 after going in for bronchitis. They keep your credit card information and then bill you automatically afterward without an itemized bill. Fraud.
I had a great experience at this urgent care clinic. The front desk staff (Austin) was kind, helpful, and patient. I observed him helping the patient before me as he seemed to be struggling with the technology of signing in. I was seen very quickly. The medical staff were also very kind and helpful. I had to have an X-ray which confirmed broken bones in my foot. They immediately brought me a boot and crutches and trained me on the crutches before I left. I highly recommend this urgent care.
I did not have a good experience with this place but I did not plan to leave a negative review until today. I keep receiving texts that say I owe $90 which I paid on the day of service. So I called them and got their AI automated answering system, which is actually pretty cool because she sounds so real but she’s also really good at not connecting you to a human. Once I did get a hold of someone, he wasn’t even at the clinic. I didn’t understand if he was a third-party or just offsite who worked with billing. So now I am supposed to either get a receipt from the clinic or a copy of my bank statement to prove that I made the payment because their systems don’t talk to each other. Why is this my responsibility? You can’t glue a cut together and you can’t properly document a credit card payment. I don’t get it. 1 Star, don’t recommend.
I went to the Texas MedClinic in Liberty Hill for an issue I was having and I may have just been in the right place at the right time and with an excellent professional staff! Turns out that another, and I'm sure, much more serious condition may have been brought to the surface. Wonderful staff and wonderful Dr. Overall a great experience and highly recommend the Liberty Hill location of the Texas MedClinic Urgent Care Center. Tracy Defelice
