I always have such good experiences here! This is an office full of people that truly care!
Another truly amazing visit at Care First Walk-In Clinic. I was able to make an appointment and get seen by Kaela Thurman NP without waiting months. I assigned her as my PCP and I feel confident that I am getting the BEST care available! She listens to my concerns and comes up with a treatment plan while including me in the discussion. Can’t thank her and Care First enough for helping to keep me healthy and strong! If you need a primary care provider that will really listen and get you on a path to wellness, look no further than Care First!
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. I made an appointment, completed all paperwork on time, and arrived early- despite having to drive 25 minutes with two toddlers while feeling sick myself after being ill for nearly three weeks. After waiting about 10 minutes past my appointment time to be taken back, I was placed in an exam room, had my vitals taken, and then was left waiting another 45 minutes with no provider, no updates, and no acknowledgment of the delay. At that point, my toddlers were hungry, upset, and melting down, and I had no choice but to leave without being seen. I understand delays happen, but waiting nearly an hour after being put in a room- especially with no communication- is unacceptable. If your office is running that far behind, patients deserve transparency and the option to reschedule rather than being left sitting indefinitely.
Love this place so much that I made them my PCP
Ashley Bubb is AMAZING and honestly the only reason we continue coming to this office. She is kind, professional, and provides excellent care. We truly appreciate her. That said, our experiences with the rest of the staff, particularly during phone calls or interactions with the office have been consistently disappointing. Each interaction has felt rushed, unhelpful, and unfriendly, and this has been a recurring pattern rather than an isolated incident. As someone with a background in healthcare, I understand how critical patient experience and clear, compassionate communication are to the overall quality of care. That’s why these repeated interactions have been especially frustrating. We’re sharing this feedback in the hope that it leads to meaningful improvement. A more welcoming, patient-centered approach from all staff members would make a significant difference and better reflect the level of care that Ashley provides.
MS Terry is So caring !!!
Update – 2026: We used to really love this place, as you can see from my prior review. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing. I was seen and treated for a condition even though the culture taken in the office ultimately came back negative. A few days later, I scheduled an appointment with my regular doctor, who requested the culture results that were sent for further testing. I called to request this information, but it was never sent, and no one followed up to see whether my symptoms had improved—which they hadn’t. As a result, my regular doctor had to order the exact same test again. This meant I was billed twice for something that could have been completely avoided if the office had followed up as they said they would. I did eventually receive a call back after my appointment with my regular doctor, during which I was told someone might reach out to discuss my experience—but no one ever did. Overall, this place is very convenient, but if they aren’t willing to follow up to ensure the issue you paid them to treat was properly addressed, what’s the point? This place is amazing! I have had to take my daughter in multiple times but today they blew me away. I can't imagine how tired and overwhelmed they all are but every every single one of them took the time to address my concerns. This type of care is so hard to find and my family truly appreciates it!
I’ve never given a one star review to anyone congratulations y’all earned it terrible service
I have went to Care First for nearly 10 years and have always thought they have had great providers and staff. I went in today after suffering for days with a cold that blew up into a sinus infection. I was seen by Kristen Alpert, a provider that I had not previously seen at this location. One thing I thought was strange is that she thought she saw scar tissue when looking in my ears. Now I am 40 years old and can say that no provider in my life has ever said such a thing. She did eventually concede she saw fluid in my ears but was overall dismissive of this. She offered to call in prescription strength cough medicine. I indicated I thought that was a low treatment plan: I'd been getting progressively worse and worse. She then told me she "didn't really care" if I followed the treatment plan. So I immediately walked out after that. I do not think it should ever be acceptable to say that to a patient. I'm already sick as hell, why be mean to me??? Interesting was she followed me down the hall and said "Well I think you misunderstood me." Nah. I might have fluid in my ears but I understood perfectly well what was said. Learn some bedside manners and demonstrate empathy. As the name of the business states, Care First before all else. I have contacted Blue Cross Blue Shield and reported this and instructed them not to make payment for these services. CF already tried to send over this visit to the insurance 😆 Care First had some guts to try and send a bill for that so quickly. Sorry, now y'all have been put on notice to the insurance as you should be. Shame on that provider.
