Great crew and environment! Whiskey on tap and the walls are filled with awesome art. They always have great music playing along hilarious and interesting conversation. If you are looking for a spot to get a great cut and enjoy the atmosphere, don’t sleep on Round Rock Barbershop!
First time coming here and had a great experience with Joe. Joe cut my hair along with my sons and we are very happy with the end result. Will continue to come back.
Updated Nov'25: Big Shout Out to this local business!!! I have been visiting RR Barber Shop for three years now, the service is great and I only had positive experiences so far. It is very easy to get an appointment, place is always clean and neat, good prices, good music, good laughs, good vibes for the rest of the day! My preferences are saved in the notes and I just say "the regular" and voila - another great fade! "Back to normal", thank you, and may the force be with you! My older review (≈3 y. ago): This is a truly great place, I loved the vibe of the Barbershop right from the start and the guys are truly professional at what they're doing!

I should have posted this review a long time ago. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Will for about 5 or 6 years. Hard to remember. The hair cut is good, but my haircut is easy and I don’t go for the haircut. Will and Dennis are hilarious and the place has an actual barber shop vibe. Always different music and a lot of beverages to choose from and great (non PC) conversations.

I really wanted to like this place — and I still think there's a lot to appreciate — but I can’t recommend based on my experience. The barber was a nice guy. Easy to talk to and engaging - I could tell he genuinely wanted the experience to be positive. Not naming him here because I honestly think he meant well — it just didn’t work out with this cut. My bangs ended up being a lot shorter than I’d hoped, and the shape near my temples makes it look like I'm thinning. There's also some unevenness showing up that I can't seem to get rid of no matter how I style it. I didn’t bring it up at the time — I’m new to the area and was trying to be open-minded — but now, a few weeks out, I still don’t feel good about it. Other barbers have told me my hair can be tricky, so I don’t think this is about competence — just a mismatch between barber and client. If your style is straightforward, this place might be a better fit.
