Libby was awesome and super chill. The atmosphere of the salon as a whole had such a light and pleasant vibe to it. Libby was super flexible with my choices. It can be hard to find a place to get your curls cut in Austin without being charged an arm and a leg; or having to book the appointment weeks in advance. So I am thankful I found this place. I had my hair cut by Rosemary. She did a great job, in good time too, for a great price! And it was obvious she knew what she was doing, so I could trust her with my hair.

I've been meaning to write a review for this salon since I got my hair cut at the end of November. I booked an appointment for the afternoon of Black Friday. When I showed up, I learned there had been a scheduling error, and the person who was supposed to do my hair wasn't actually working that day. Although the salon could have told me I was out of luck, the owner instead was there to greet me, explain the situation, and still did my hair (beautifully, by the way) for the price I would have paid with the stylist I initially booked with. I was super grateful, and honestly, I had a really wonderful time chatting with Val! I don't love spending a whole ton of time on my hair on the days that I wash it, and she gave me very realistic suggestions of things I could do that would help me get the curl I love with minimal effort steps. I definitely plan on returning for my next hair cut!
I had such a wonderful experience with Chloe at The Mirror & I Salon. I have very long hair and she gave me the most incredible blowout and style. She took her time, was extremely professional, and knew exactly how to handle my hair to make it look smooth and voluminous. I left feeling fantastic and can't stop looking at my hair! If you are looking for a skilled stylist for long hair, definitely see Chloe!

I love this place! I recently came in for a partial highlight done by Chloe and she did a great job! She got me to the exact color and cut I was wanting and it was done beautifully
