Had a man blowing his nose with no tissue at the bar. Don’t know why I stayed for the food but it was also terrible. Advertised “stuffed french toast” both orders had old stale bread. Not fresh at all. Undercooked bacon.

Went there on a weekday before everyone started showing up. Excellent little spot for breakfast. Will be returning.

Nick’s has huge portions, kind staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Feels like a classic breakfast spot. Also, the best French toast in town.

I really enjoyed the menu; home-cooked comfort food for brunch. Tried their Biscuits and gravy and the regular French toast, which were both Texas sized and delicious! Seating can be a wait on a Sunday, but it's worth it.

Great food, warm atmosphere, fantastic service. It was our first time, Erick was very patient explaining the menu and made us feel right at home.

The food was amazing! Big portion sizes, fair pricing (for Austin), very delicious. It’s everything you want from a no-frills classic diner. The only issue was the service. They forgot my side of toast, said they would be right back with it, and never came back. They, instead, came back with the check like 10 seconds after our food came out, which I’m fine with, except our waiter ignored us after that point, even though we wanted to order something else but couldn’t. We had to ask someone else to help with my missing toast and they brought the wrong toast when we did that. They also did not have enough creamer at the table for our coffee and we had to ask like 4 times for them to bring us creamer. Lastly, because we were ignored, our coffee went empty, which is very sad. We will come back one of these days to see if we can get a more positive experience but I am sad that a place that easily could have been 5 stars was hit so bad with poor service.

I have had this place before and its why I come back but today was just disappointing. My wife walked in to get us a table and the manager just looked at her and walked away and 2 other parties came in after her and the server who came to assist sat the other ppl down first and made us wait for a table to be cleaned off. It’s a shame bc the food is good.

Service was great.. our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were good from start to finish. Food was okay the item we got was listed a bit misleading on the menu... French toast was not stuffed but instead was spread on and the ratio was off.
