Killing is the best place to get chocolate and ice cream and anything else you would want in chocolete
Did someone say chocolate! We stopped in while visiting Texas and it was the perfect start to the trip. I wish we lived closer because they had so much stuff for Easter. It was clean and everything we got was delicious! Def worth a stop!!
Walking into Kilwins feels like walking into a nostalgic, upscale candy shop. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the fresh popcorn and chocolate being made. All of the candy sets on display are wrapped beautifully and would make for great gifts. My group all got ice cream, and everything tasted fresh. The staff was helpful and patient with giving everyone samples. They have a lot of iconic chocolate candies in the display case to choose from. You can tell that they work hard to make everything both look and taste great! They are all dressed in uniform, which adds to the nostalgic feel. I love that it's right on The Square and there's a few benches right outside to sit and enjoy your treats!
Soy fans de estas heladerías, siempre que mi familia y yo queremos disfrutar de un postre delicioso está esta es nuestra primero opción! Nos encanta probar sabores nuevos…
They do have a great selection of ice creams, chocolates and fudge. I was so impressed with the beautiful creations. I will say that the ice cream is too sweet, they close too early for a Saturday night and don't have a restroom, unfortunately.
Peanut butter fudge 好吃 一次需要買一整塊$15 usd
Let me start off by saying I have been a huge fan of kilwins for over a decade. After moving to Texas I was so excited to find out that there was a Kilwins near me. We’ve had many pleasant experiences at the Georgetown location except for the past 3 times. The past three times, the flavor we haven’t wanted was nearly empty. Instead of opening a new one, they’ve scraped the bottom of the barrel which lacked all the flavor and fillings. I get they have to finish the bucket but it should be replaced when it gets that low. Today, same thing, the flavor was nearly empty so my husband ended up choosing a different flavor so he’d be able to get an adequate scoop. Unfortunately, they only put one small scoop in the waffle cone, this isn’t typical of their servings. He had to eat at least two inches of cone before even getting to any icecream. I also noticed the same thing happened to another customer, more than a half empty cone. It’s really disappointing since we’ve been such fans and recommenders of kilwins and drive over 30 mins just to get their icecream. Talk about shrinkflation :(
If you’re in downtown Georgetown and craving something sweet, this little ice cream and chocolate shop on the Square is an absolute must. The place has that perfect local vibe — cozy, welcoming, and full of treats that make you feel like a kid again. The assortment of ice cream and sweets is fantastic, and the quality is top notch across the board. My personal favorites so far? The house-made gummy bears (hands down the best I’ve ever had) and the fudge — unbelievably good! You can tell everything is made with care and real ingredients. On top of all that, the staff is always so friendly and patient while you browse and try to make the impossible decision of choosing just one treat. Spoiler: you won’t. You’ll leave with a bag full. 😄 Highly recommend — this is one of those hometown gems you’ll keep coming back to!
Riquísimas Nieves!!! Nuestras Favoritas!! Very delicious 🤤
Just smelling this place as we passed to go to dinner, I knew we would be back for a visit. We stopped back and had ice cream. It was flavorful and delicious.
