I am not originally from Austin, but moved here about 3 years ago and was in desperate need of a barber. Where I am from, usually your barber is your barber until you’re gone. But when I moved to Austin, there was no way I was going to drive 4 hours away for a haircut. So I started googling for a good barber in Austin, and ran across JT’s grooming. I am not gonna lie, I tried other barbers out here before I decided to go with JT. But after experiencing JT’s grooming…. Rather it’s the conversations we have, the time he takes on my hair, the cleanliness, or just being able to relax while watching tv, it’s all worth it! I will continue to go to JT until I don’t have any hair left lol so everyone else should check him out!

JT has been cutting my hair for several years now and it’s been a true pleasure to get to know him. JT is not only a great barber, he’s a true professional in every sense. My hair and beard always look perfect after leaving his shop. Scheduling on the website is a breeze, and hours are flexible for my schedule. Had a problem finding a good barber in the area and JT filled the bill. Great shop and excellent work on a scissor fade-undercut w/ a beard and moustache trim. Fiance liked it a lot so, I guess that's all the proof I needed. Well done JT - will be back soon. Update: JT knows his business and is great with his clients. All around, he's a class act and is approaching 10yrs in business at this location. Book it via his webpage (via Square), and head in to try the services if you're in the area. Highly recommended 💯
