This place is amazing ! The menu has very unique drinks for people looking for a change of pace. And a lot of seating for working/meeting up with others. Staff is also very kind 😊

Had a great experience this morning at Instill Coffee during the Round Rock Chamber’s Rise and Grind Young Professionals event. The space has an open, welcoming vibe that made it easy for everyone to connect and enjoy the morning. The coffee selection had something for everyone, and everything we tried was excellent. A few of us grabbed breakfast tacos, and they were a big hit. The salsa that came with them was especially good and got a lot of attention. Appreciate Instill Coffee hosting our group and creating such a great environment. Looking forward to coming back soon.

I had a disappointing experience today with a curbside pickup order. I texted the phone number that’s on the sign when I arrived but no one came out. After about 10 minutes I walked in just to see my iced coffee cup sitting there in the pick up area. I told the employee that I had texted them for curbside and she said “we can take it out there for you” 🤯 she said this after I walked inside to get it myself. I completely understand if the staff had been busy, but when I walked in one of the employees seemed like she was just standing there. The curbside spot is directly in front of the entrance and I’m sure they saw me waiting so I’m not sure why it wasn’t brought out. I was really hoping to start coming here regularly since this was my second visit but today was disappointing honestly. I’m upset because my drink now tastes watered down from sitting out and because the curbside service was not managed properly.

Leaving this review as feedback. I ordered the double matcha with matcha cold foam. As you can see in the photo, the matcha wasn’t whisked properly, which made the drink noticeably grainy. The color was also much lighter than other matcha drinks being served at the same time. When I asked for a remake, I noticed the matcha still wasn’t sifted and the chasen was whisked in slow circular motions rather than properly aerated. Unfortunately the remade drink still had separation, which affected the texture and overall taste. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency in preparing matcha drinks.
Manager was rude. We went in and ordered a bag of coffee beans and requested for them to grind to Espresso grade. When we got home to input into our espresso machine the beans were not grinder to the Espresso grade. When I called the coffee shop in Round Rock to explain the situation and requested if we can just replace the bag for the same coffee flavor but with the correct espresso grade, he told me “it doesn’t make sense for them to give me another bag without charging me” that “their company would be losing bc their coffee beans are roasted in house”. I explained that they should just replace the beans for what I originally ordered and paid for. He then went on to say, they wouldn’t make that mistake and I described the female who gave us the coffee and he still said he would have to charge me and not replace the bag. To me, this company does not care about the customer or having a great relationship with the customer.
