This was my first time here, and I loved it! The coffee is delicious and the service is excellent. Thank you for being so quick in the mornings—it’s perfect before work. The outdoor seating is also great. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice place, unfortunately they are break state law. It is illegal to charge processing fees on a debit card in the state of Texas. *See Texas Law - BUSINESS AND COMMERCE CODE, Title 12, Section 604A.002

04 2026 update: The wait is still worth it. The staff is busy, so be kind and patient. They're so nice and working hard. The biscuits are homemade. The coffee is out of this world. The chicken fried steak is so good you'll go home and slap your mama. Absolutely a gem. Don't be in a rush and enjoy the atmosphere. Best midas ever.

We had brunch for my daughter's birthday. I checked us in online to limit the wait since we had kids and it worked out nicely. Our server was prompt and helpful, the food came out quick. It's a fairly small space so noisy but not overbearing. We ordered omelets, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, ham steak platter and breakfast tacos. Everything was delicious!

Not a good experience as I order food to be delivered and the order wasn't that hard it was 2 kid plates both were to have bacon and one had the strawberry topping for the pancake no bacon was in the box and there where 2 slices of strawberries for 3 dollars added on

Food was great! and the Texas pecan coffee was amazing!! Douglas was attentive and helpful during the ordering process, will definitely be back!!!

Cafe Java has been a place Iv been coming to for a while now and every time Iv gone it has been consistently exceptional in its service during even their busiest hours, the food has never disappointed with its impeccable flavor, and the loving and charming atmosphere is wonderfully refreshing. 5 stars no doubt.
