I’ve been to this salon a few times before- and have seen Alexa and Erika. They both are so awesome at what they do- and I have loved my experiences with both. I’ve gotten highlights and haircuts here and I will never go anywhere else!
I am incredibly picky about who does my hair because I’ve had bad experiences in the past, and Grace never disappoints! She’s been doing my hair for at least two years now and kills it every time. My hair always looks great, and it’s a fun time in her chair (she’s so funny). I’m going back tomorrow and have been looking forward to it all month!
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Grace is incredibly talented and made me feel so comfortable the whole time. She nailed the look I was going for and gave me one of the best haircuts/styles I’ve ever had( Bob growing out into a shag) . I’ve gotten so many compliments already—can’t recommend this salon and Grace enough!
Grace is an absolute hair genius! I came in with a previously overdone blonde balayage from a different salon and wanted to go back to a more natural, low maintenance brown. From my first appointment, she took the time to sit with me and talk through exactly what I wanted. Her techniques are expert level as everything blended so seamlessly while still looking dimensional. She exceeded my expectations and my hair grew out beautifully. Even at my next appointment months later, my hair still looked so good. She nailed the low maintenance, natural look I was going for. Every aspect of my appointments have been spot on. The scalp treatment alone is worth booking with her! She is also so fun and funny. I’ve officially found my hair person and will definitely keep going back!
Grace is such a beautiful chick. Beautiful girl and amazing conversationalist! I usually go to my mom’s shop in east Texas to get my hair done, but took a chance and will definitely be back! I described the cut I wanted and opted for a blowout last minute. Grace talked me through the process and got it all done in time for me to make the matinee up the street. Professional experience. Very pleased to have a salon closer to home I can plan to make my go-to. Five stars for my girl Grace! Thanks again!
Grace is a genuine, kind, and wonderful person. I really enjoyed our conversation. She is talented and cares a lot about the work that she does! Personally, I did not have a good result, in part due to miscommunication and the other part due to the application. I provided the reference picture (photo 2) and I mentioned that I wanted a warm, soft brunette color. Grace saw copper undertones in the picture and thought I wanted predominately copper hair, which was not the case. When she said the reference photo looks like copper, I thought darker copper tones like is in the picture instead of a bright orange. I do not know color theory well, so I did not ask follow up questions, which is on me. Color wise, the result was very orange, which did not resemble the reference photo, but the application itself was also uneven. The balayage is streaky and did not blend well with my natural colors (Photo 1). My hair was overprocessed and is now tangling very often dry or wet which didn’t happen to me before. Haircut wise, the result is choppy and shorter than discussed at the consultation (above the boob vs below it) which is a difficult length for me since my hair poofs out if it’s a too short. It’s tangled and damaged. Photo 4 shows my original hair color for reference. I did reach out and to see if a revision could be done and they were super accommodating and got me in the next day. Grace got some of the orange out and neutralized it, but it still doesn’t look as I hoped (Photo 3 is what it looks like now.) For the $500+ spent, I am not happy with the result and the revision :( Since the salon doesn’t offer refunds, I will be dipping into my savings to correct it elsewhere. I’m giving 3 stars because they did try to fix it and Grace and Alex were really accommodating and I can tell that they tried their best to make it right!
Grace is amazing! I showed her inspo pics that I liked because I wasn’t sure how to articulate exactly what I wanted. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had and picked up immediately on the vibe I was going for. Alex at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Truly a great experience and I’ll be back!
This was the first salon I’ve been to in 2 years and I genuinely loved it. I gave Alexa a basic idea of what I wanted and a week later after all the salon products have been washed out my hair still feels soft, fresh, and full of life.
I always have a wonderful experience here! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. I highly recommend Erika—I’ve been seeing her for the past few years, and she consistently provides exceptional service. She truly listens to what I want while also offering great suggestions to ensure the best results. I couldn’t be happier with her work!
I really feel bad posting this because I wasn’t the one here for a haircut. However, my wife has been here several times. Several times she has showed you the same picture of what she wanted her hair to look like and several times you failed her. It’s the exact same picture her sister showed her stylist and got it done perfectly the first time. Hers had more highlights than my wife’s, but they nailed the cut. Today she paid a consultation fee on her visit to go over her previous visits and to try to get an understand what she wanted to see if they had someone who could replicate it. Well, today to be told that her knowledge of the process , which is vast because she was a cosmetologist in here 20’s, is the real problem and not the execution of their process has really upset her. She feels hopeless to get the haircut she has been wanting. Update to this review. She has found a place that’s able to cut and color it properly, Ulta at lakeline. Shame on all of you for the way she left your salon. Tears should not be the result when you didn’t even touch her hair today. I’ll pray for guidance moving forward and dealing with hair and customers.
