Forrest Coffee House has quickly become my go-to spot in Liberty Hill. It’s rare to find a place that balances such a cozy, inviting atmosphere with a genuine focus on high-quality craft coffee. Whether you’re grabbing a quick morning pour-over, settling in to work, or catching up with friends, the vibe is always perfect. The staff is incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do—they always make you feel like family the moment you walk in. If you're a fan of quality espresso or looking to try a unique seasonal drink, you won’t be disappointed. It’s exactly the kind of independent, community-focused café that makes Liberty Hill special.

Unexpectedly great independent coffee shop in Liberty Hill. They have a really cool spot with a large outdoor area shaded by some massive live oaks. The coffee is really good and the service is friendly!
Super cool place. My wife absolutely loved the matcha — it’s the original ceremonial matcha, which is hard to find these days since most places use syrup instead of real matcha powder. You can really taste the difference in quality. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! We also really enjoyed the backyard — it’s super peaceful and dog-friendly, which made the visit even more relaxing.
I come here like every day I possibly can and I have no money anymore, but it is beyond worth it. The workers are incredibly kind, hospitable, and fun. It is super peaceful in here and the decorations are super cute. The chairs are comfortable, the WiFi is good, and the coffee is PERFECT. It’s a great place to come and read your Bible (or any book but especially the Bible), do work, or meet with friends. If I could give a 6 stars for everything, I would. I only have one complaint and that’s that every once in a while I’ll come and hear some abysmal music so whoever is on the speakers and has bad music taste, hand it over to Kacey please.
Coffee nerd to coffee nerd, this is banging. I’ve worked in third wave coffee for almost a decade (and still do) and struggle to find great coffee in the area. The espresso was perfectly dialed in and super clean and smooth, dining area was spotless, and the baristas were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. 100000% will be back!!!
I love this shop. I come here to work or just enjoy a quiet coffee with a friend the outdoor space is fantastic for kids and has plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and fun... Even when you accidentally kick the table
Got hot mocha and iced vanilla lattes. Both were great. Seating options good both indoor and outdoor. Main ruiner was for some reason new owner decided to only have one size which was way too small. So you have to buy more if you want more. Further, we added caramel drizzle which was a whole dollar and changed milk to half and half which was another whole dollar. Seems pretty steep for a tiny cup and drizzle. Won’t be returning because of this.
Nice place to meet up for coffee and light sweets. It was very busy today and the first time we have seen it real busy. The outside tables in back were filled with moms and kids that met ip there. The inside was filled too. We waited for the front porch to clear and got a table with a couple of chairs and our grandkids sat on the porch floor. We were under the shade of the roof.
Excellent place. Got a little noisy as more folks came in.
