Absolutely love this place fantastic cookies and pastry’s the sandwiches are always SO DELICIOUS and if you ever need an evening cheese and meat board with a side of wine this is the place to get it from in town.

When my family first moved to Taylor our first visit to Flake was such a surprise, we couldn't believe our little town had such a gem. The food, atmosphere, and service is always incredible! We've now been dozens of times and are never disappointed. Leisha is kind, personable and truly cares about her customers!
We stopped here to pick up some breakfast pastries before visiting family in Taylor and we were not disappointed. This little shop has the cutest decor and the yummiest pastries. The family loved everything we bought. We plan to visit again soon.

Stoped in today for lunch and was blown away by the beautiful interior. The food was just as phenomenal! Had the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries on the side. Can't wait to be back to try some of the bagels. Highly recommend!!
This place is a true gem in Taylor! All the bread is made fresh in house and is absolutely delicious. The breakfast sandwich is the best I have ever tried with a melt in your mouth biscuit. Check this place out you won't be disappointed!
As someone who used to run a coffee roasting and wholesale business, I was genuinely shocked by how this was handled. The owner spilled an extra hot chai all over my friend, her legs, shorts, and white tennis shoes. There was no meaningful apology, just an expectation that she clean herself up in the bathroom with wipes. When my friend reasonably asked for her shoes to be replaced (chai does not come out of white shoes), the owner deflected blame and said someone was in her way instead of taking responsibility and proceeded to hang up on her!!! Accidents happen in this industry, but how you respond is everything. This was a complete lack of accountability and basic customer care. Situations like this are exactly why businesses lose trust.
