This is a very old Texas dance hall. Over the years I have seen many great acts here. My favorite was the winter of 1997 Gary Stewart. Under new management for 2026 booking many good entertainers and bringing back the life to a Texas original. Only problem we had was entering what a pain. They do a poor job of entry. One person to ask questions about guns knifes another to wand scan the body. Next stop they must scan in your driver's liscence. Then scan your tickets. Then place a wrist band on both wrist. Terrible system!!! The dance hall speaks to ya so many old memories had by all. Go see it and enjoy the acts. This is always a great place to dance the night away. Beers are.cold.and service is good expect to go to the bar for drinks.

The public should know that this venue has a huge photo of a topless woman, completely topless, displaying where it could be seen from any point in this venue. This is an all-age venue!! I’m pretty sure that is illegal and if it’s not it should be. I had brought my teenage son that I have been trying very hard to raise as a Christian and I was disgusted and upset that I exposed my son to that. I saw children of all ages there! That is a gross disrespect to families, and despite liking this venue, I will not be back because I will not support exposing that to children and disrespecting families. What is sad is that we had invited a large group, there was at least 15 of us in our group and if it were not for that inappropriate photo, we probably would’ve come back many times. As long as that photo remains, I will not be recommending this place to people I know.

Super Fun night in Coupland with Sara Evans! We wired out that dance floor! Very happy this historic place is still alive and kicking!!

You just need to go and feel the nostalgia. There's always a time to go watch your big name bands and overpay those Crooks but once in awhile you need to see the way it used to be. Nothing better than a longleaf pine floor and to slide into those leather bottom boots/shoes to glide against the grain with your someone special! Do it at least once.....u may do it twice! 🤩

What a great dancehall and music venue! The recent upgrades to the venue make it more band friendly and patron friendly. I love seeing All Hat No Cadillac play there, they are the greatest 90’s country tribute band in all of the land.

I saw Charley Crockett here in 2020 and was blown away at how magical the place was. Great vibe, sound, and dance floor.

A very intimate place to watch live music and dance. While most places try to be so big to draw in lots of people, Coupland Dancehall provides a place where every seat in the house is a good one. I’m a big/tall guy, so I was afraid that the tables would be super tight and packed. They weren’t. I was very comfortable all night. Lots of room to dance, a well staffed bar, and loads of ambiance make this a place you will want to return to.
