I don’t normally post things like this but I feel like it’s important for other parents to be aware of how Cedar Park Pediatrics and Family Medicine treats their patients. My son has allergy induced asthma and at times, requires Qvar inhaler. I went to have his prescription refilled and was informed from CVS it was denied. I thought this was strange so I called the pediatrician. I was informed that they would no longer approve this VERY important/potentially lifesaving medicine for my child until I paid a portion of my bill that insurance didn’t cover. Mind you, I was never told this in office. Or contacted via phone. Could I have received a bill in the mail that I overlooked? Yes, that’s possible. I’m just shocked they wouldn’t have called… mentioned in a visit… anything else before denying refilling my son’s prescription. Truly doesn’t seem ethical at all to treat a CHILD this way.

Very friendly, I need an appointment the next day and I got it very thorough appointment, The only thing I have a problem with is every time I go to get my blood drawn there they could never get it, I end up paying for Them not to be able to get it
Efficient and accurate wellness visit
Highly recommend this medical center. Dr. Jacob helped my son with a persistent nasal congestion issue. His diagnosis was spot on, and the medicine he provided was very effective. We are very grateful for the professional care we received here.

The office staff were very friendly upon my arrival. The nurse who checked me in was courteous and friendly. Dr. King was friendly, shook my hand and asked me fact finding questions to get to the root of my problem. “My toes go numb, tingle and feel on fire then it moves into the middle of my foot, I said… when I’m done with my walk I’m in excruciating pain”, he explained what he thought could be the problem and referred me to a podiatrist. I’m awaiting a call back from the podiatrist. I’m thankful to Dr. King and his staff as they made me feel comfortable and welcomed, as a new patient! Great job!

Staff are friendly and nice and the ratings looked good through my insurance provider, however, as I was attempting to schedule an appointment to establish care I ran into issues. The first time I scheduled online and a week or so later I got a call that the provider wouldn't be available and needed to reschedule. Following that I was rescheduled about 4-5 times for different reasons and, at that point, appointments were far out of the range of when I needed to see someone. Ultimately, I decided to switch providers due to this.
They are great!
