As others have noted, Scott & White has sunk to using dishonest and unscrupulous billing practices. My last visit was supposed to be a no cost preventative wellness check. The resident who conducted the exam asked a series of routine questions about seasonal allergies, etc. and I later received a sizeable bill for specialist fees, even though I had no new or significant health concerns. I tried to resolve the issue, but providers will not return calls and billing is a hopeless mess. I was essentially told they had changed their billing practices and if I didn’t like it— too bad. I recommend finding healthcare elsewhere as I have done (after being a patient for over 20 years).
