A Place At Home - North Austin

I contacted multiple companies on a Friday afternoon when I was desperate for some relief in caring for my father. This was the only company who could help me on short notice and eased my burden. We had a multitude of caregivers since we were working to provide 24 hour a day coverage over a long weekend, but every single one I worked with -- and I worked with them all -- were compasionate and cared not only for my ailing father, but for my emotional well being as well. Haydee spend multiple days with in and not only cared for my dad with dignity, she did everything she could to make our lives better. Ana come on shift as the hospice nurse was there trying to make dad more confortable and she jumped in. I honestly believed she cared about dad and she certainly watched over him. I can not say enough good things about the company. Every time we had a new caregiver, they were introduced by the owner and she explained what needed to happen and gave clear expectations for dad's care. I honestly don't know what I would have done without this team of people.

We are so glad to be working with A Place At Home. Stacey, the owner really takes the time to get to know your family and the needs you have. Raegan is our caregiver and she is awesome - Happy and communicative so we always know what's going on, even when we are not there. So appreciative for the burden that has been lifted through these amazing folks!

Stacy made my mother in law feel very comfortable during a discussion about getting help at home. She also provided ideas about senior living communities nearby and ways my MIL could test out via rental before making any decisions. Make sure to give her a call!

If you ever need care for a family member, especially an elderly parent(s), I cannot more highly recommend A Place at Home. Stacey and her staff go above and beyond what they are hired to do. I have used A Place at Home for my parents over the past several months. Not only did they ensure my parents ate, bathed, and were given the proper medication, they also shopped for them, cleaned, made sure they made all their doctor's appointment and took care of them even when hospitalization was required. But above and beyond all of this, they truly cared and loved for my parents. A Place at Home treated them like family and vice versa. I cannot say enough about the exceptional staff and work that this amazing organization provides. The greatest feeling was knowing that my parents were safe and in great hands.
