Where Greenery Meets Community
Step inside 1005 Rock St. in downtown Georgetown and you’ll find Root to Rise Plant Co., a vibrant mix of plant shop and local market. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Megan and Collins Nance, this Veteran-owned business is all about connection, to nature and to community. Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just starting your green journey, the team makes it easy to bring a little life into your home or office.
Beyond the Houseplants
Yes, you’ll find gorgeous, healthy plants here (including harder-to-find favorites like Alocasia Dragon Scale), but that’s just the beginning. The shop also stocks eclectic gifts, vintage treasures, and handcrafted goods from more than 20 local makers.
There’s even a DIY hat bar for a fun creative twist. For those who love a good hangout, keep an eye out for events in their inviting backyard space. And if you need advice or a custom order for your home or next event, the staff is ready to help with plant care tips and styling solutions.
A Place That Feels Alive
The atmosphere at Root to Rise is warm, creative, and full of personality. Natural light, pops of green, and thoughtfully curated displays make it a space you’ll want to linger in. Add friendly, knowledgeable staff, and it’s no wonder this shop has become a favorite for plant lovers and gift seekers alike.
