A fresh take on fashion
Located at 900 N Austin Ave Suite 325, Uptown Cheapskate Georgetown has officially opened its doors for a soft launch, inviting locals to bring in their gently used fashion finds. The store offers cash or store credit on the spot, giving shoppers a simple, sustainable way to refresh their closets while helping reduce waste in the community. It’s fashion recycling made easy and stylish.
What they offer
Right now, Uptown Cheapskate is in its buying-only phase, accepting men’s and women’s apparel, shoes, and accessories in great condition. Items that are current, seasonal, and trendy tend to fetch the best offers. Sellers can choose instant cash or get 25 percent more in store credit for future purchases.
The store’s grand opening is planned for mid-December, when it will officially start selling its curated racks of modern, secondhand style. Until then, locals can stop by, declutter their wardrobes, and get a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
The experience
The process is quick and relaxed. Staff review your items while you browse, and the bright, welcoming space makes the experience easy from start to finish. It’s a fun way to turn clothes you no longer wear into something new, whether that’s cash in your pocket or credit toward your next look.
